" RIP MIKE DYE "

A Memorial to Bluebirds fans who have sadly passed away.

There will be an empty seat at the CCS on Saturday, a seat that Mikey Dye should be sitting in. It's a tragedy that things like this happen so let's all spend a moment Saturday and think about the family that's left behind to pick up the pieces.
RIP fella.

I didn’t know Mike but my thoughts are with all those left behind. A sad thing that should never happen at a football match. I and my 2 boys will pay our respects on Saturday with all other bluebirds.

Mikey, I didn't know you but I can tell from the showing on here that you commanded a lot of respect. I'm saddened and shocked to the core with what has happened tonight, and I hope that the cowards responsible are brought to swift justice.

You were a fellow Bluebird, a fellow Welshman and by all accounts a top bloke. May you rest in peace.

I am touched by the messages of condolence from West Ham, Celtic, Ipswich, and Swansea fans, among others. It is nice to see unity in condemnation of this tragedy at this time.

Take care mate, you and your family are in my thoughts :( .

Leeds Utd in peace.

Just heard the terrible news and would like to offer my sincere condolences to family and friends of Mikey Dye and hope your memories be your comfort.

I know a lot of Welsh people here in Australia and know they, and all true football fans, will be feeling the loss. I did not know Mikey personally but do know that no one deserves to pass by going to watch a football match

R.I.P

How about we all chip in and purchase a huge banner/flag (just like the flag that was unveiled for the FA Cup) and move it along the whole ground, in memory of mike.

Just a thought

I didn't know Mikey but somehow the events hurt just as much. It's unbelievable that you can go to a football match and not return. Due to the stupidity of others. I feel a mixture of anger and sadness and my thoughts go to his family. RIP.

Barnsley in peace.
Was at the game last night and happy enough with Englands slightly lucky win. All turned meaningless when hearing the tragic news about Mikey. It's football not war, nobody should die following their team. Rest in peace Mikey and deepest sympathy to family and friends
