I was in the same class as Mikey when he went to Barry Boys comp,we were the only 2 city fans in the class.Always a laugh to be around,so sad this has happened.Millbank mourns the passing of another city legend. R.I.P. DIAO.

Only realised who he was on seeing the photos in the news today, played football against him in gol loads of times over the last 2-3 years. Even played against him last Thursday, always went in hard and didn't take any prisoners!

RIP fella

My heart goes out to him and his friends and family i am not a Cardiff city fan but i wanted to show my respects and the club should open a book for fans to leave their messages etc.

Nobody should be killed or Attacked at football matches and i hope the family can get justice and everyone has indeed lost a friend on the forum and at Cardiff city football club.

Many Thanks

I hope your up there telling your silly little jokes that we all used to laugh at (even if they wernt very funny lol) I have some incredable memories and will cherish them for the rest of my life. So heres to you Mikey dye have yourself a bottle of fosters twist (yuk). (one of our little jokes). my heart goes out to the family.

ol trendy its all so sad
that your children are left without a dad
surely there must be a catch
you couldnt have lost your life at a football match
i hope the cowards pay for this deed
theres several hungry mouths to feed
i never knew you mate
and now i never will its all too late
this tragedy at the wembley gate
has left us all in a terrible state

theres always been my one special wish
to put all the violence on a rocket shaped dish
and propel it into outa space
for that must be its rightfull place
bluebird fights jack but whats the point of it all
wales is gods country stand ten foot tall
youve taught us english ever so much
we just dont have your special touch

men of harlech stand together
sing your songs through all the weather
all that coal dust destroyed so many lungs people wre left black inside
but there was nothing to take away the welshmens pride
they worked so many hours for so little pay
to fuel the navy to keep our enemies away
one day a united wales will win its independance
and football hooliganism will drift into insignificance

then out side old ninian park
a ghost will apear from the dark
knowbody knew who it was,but he had a ,lovely smile
rest in peace trendy everyone will miss your style
racial harmony will unleish itself
welsh badges be displayed on your shelf
no more violence between jacks and blue birds
ok there maybe some heated words
but people must learn to get on,and be true
does it matter if your favourite team wear red or blue

REST IN PEACE TRENDY ALTHOUGH I NEVER KNEW YOU ALL OF ENGLAND IS TOTALLY SICK , THAT YOU LOST YOUR PRECOUS LIFE,MAY JESUS IN HEAVEN LOOK AFTER YOUR FAMILY AT THIS TERRIBLE TIME,GOD BLESS YOU
