Still early days and so many 'whispers' that the odds will continue to ebb and flow; although I think the Three Amigos are starting to look like they are all well in the frame ;)

Bellamy with one or two of the other two (and perhaps Dutch Ray) alongside him would be good for me, but my actual bet is still elsewhere

Been odds on before, and then went out again.

Don't forget Brendan Rodgers was even shorter than that for Swansea job earlier this week, and he didn't get it.

It's been reported that the club are interviewing candidates this weekend, and I don't think we'll hear anything until the middle of next week at the earliest.

I agree - but would like a proven manager at this level if finances allowed

Spot on!

It may be that Trollope has now decided he would like to be considered and that has filtered through. However, I think the club will do due diligence on their next appointment and it will be for any interviewees to strut their stuff and convince the City hierarchy they are the man for the job ;)

Hopefully, the attending candidates will remember to bring along PowerPoints with the appropriate 'logo' on them this time! LOL :laughing6: :laughing6:

Most will know odds come in when money starts going on that person, while it can be an indication something is going down it can also mean nothing. Initially I wanted a warnock or Pearson and I would still be happy with that but clement, Bellamy would be decent choices. I don't think Trollope will take it but I do know that the players love him as a coach and he is highly rated.

He's looking more and more likely, but I worry he needed time to think about it and I'd rather it go outside the current set-up (Bellamy or Clement) although I'm warming to the Rowberry lad being more involved after reading his profile properly :ayatollah:

Are they actually interviewing anyone else then?

If they are waiting an answer from Trollope how long has he got to answer them.

Why bother interviewing others if there is still a chance he will take it.

Why wasn't he offered it before or as soon as Slade was removed and if he was, what the f**k is he waiting for? He can't be that keen if he has to spend so long "thinking" about it.
