If you cause offence to an ethic group then it doesn't matter if the colour of your skin is the same as them. Your references to 'whites' was potentially offensive as you theorised about a hypothetical killing by a white man rather than an actual brutal murder by a person of colour.

Where are these "earlier reports" that state what you claim was said I.e. That the accused was a migrant to this country or one that says the victim was in a relationship with a non-Muslim?
