Your top five players of the season so far, in order ????

Its a real tough one this, there are great players that will miss out, and so many options for the top spot, but I am going to go for;

Hoilett
Morrison
Bamba
Ralls
Bennett

For me Manga was very close, and Zohore and Mendez miss out due to injury and poor form recently, and so many others close!

What would yours be ?

And who do you expect to sneak in before the end of the season ?

These are our 5 most consistent performers who haven’t let us down imo. Was hard for me to leave Mendez-Laing out, but his form has drastically dropped since the Bristol City game when he pulled up in the first minute.

If I sat in the Grand Stand, I’d probably be able to give a more accurate response as it’s hard to watch the tactical perspective of a game from the Canton. That aside, my top 5 so far this season are:

1.Sean Morrison (Wothout a shadow of a doubt)
2.Sol Bamba
3. Junior Hoilett
4. Joe Ralls
5. Joe Bennett

Our good defensive record so far is reflected in my choices.

Hoilett Just narrowly over Bamba.

Morrison – Has to be really, such a rock although I think Bamba and Manga are good defenders they beneifit having Morrison next to them.

Ralls – Never understood why he gets so much stick, consistent, good all round player with good energy. I think he can add more goals in open play to his game if given more opportunity to go forward.

Hoilett – Was excited when we signed him but having a proper preseason has really helped him, looks sharp and perfect for how we play. I think you could make a case for any of my top three to be player of the season for now.

Bamba – Gives his all, never gives up, pops up with the odd goal, filled into midfield for a few games. Great player to have about the club.

Bennett – Always liked him Bennett but like the others has upped his game, looks far more solid defensively than last season but still offers us something going forward.

Etheridge above Ralls???

I probably replace Bennett with Ralls but yeah Neil Etheridge kept 12 clean sheets in 26 league games, for a free signing from a division below he really has came in and fitted in perfectly for us. I am sure someone will pick up on his kicking but if you seen 99% of our back passes to him they are woeful and put him in difficult positions.

1 Morrison - Before Christmas i doubt he'd be in the top 5
2 Holiett - Just shows what happens with a decent pre-season
3 Bamba - Legend
4 Mendez Lang - Early season form was outstanding
5 Ralls- Right player in the right system

Bamba- The man mountain
Morrison-proved me wrong this season. Has been excellent
Ralls- is Getting better and better.
Hoilet- can be unplayable in this league when on form
Bennett- when fit is a 7/10 at least every game

Hoilet-Played all Summer with Canada been 8 out of 10 every game, hasn’t missed a game if ime right
Morrison- Very close with Hoilet our meanest defence in the league till he got injured since Back only conceded 1 in 3 games
Bemba- Giant Always gives 110% better with Morrison along side him
Manga- odd mistake but probably the best football out of our 3 centre backs
Rally- Has improved this season Needs to work on tackling and heading if he’s to push on

Ralls -really stepped up this season and is the main man
Morrison - always said he was a key player and this has been proved this season
Hoillett - benefitted from pre season and has been on fire
Bennett - started to come strong end of last season and has carried this on
Bamba - just gets better every week

My view as of now but I am sure this will change by end of season as hopefully a few new signing come in and drive us to promotion
