It’s not on general sale tomorrow. Only to people who have bought a ticket for this season up until Sunderland. No plans for a general sale as of yet.

So that indicates that a sell out is expected then :bluescarf:

everyone chill out, it's live on BBC1 and you if you use your head, you can get decent food and alcohol for far much less in most pubs than you'll pay going to the game.

Oh and if you are worried about not being able to attend, just get saving for next season and you'll be able to see Man City for yourself with your own season ticket! :old:

Why are you trying to encourage people not to attend?

no discouragement required, it'll be a sell out, if we had a 60k ground it would sell out - that is the pull of man city at present.

just don't know why everyone bangs on about tickets, it's always the same with these games, has been for donkeys years.

But at least it's on the tv, so everyone can join in!

No, I don't either. We've been here before and didn't sell out (not even for Man Utd in the Premier League) :thumbright:

People shouldn't pay too much attention to 'early' ticket sales and/or seating charts. I'm never sure what happens on there but I've seen many false dawns (predicted sell outs) on the back of those things and been very disappointed when walking into the stadium on the day :(

Don't blame the club for 'pushing' but sometimes the information released is misleading at best :ayatollah:

We sold the UTD game out within hours of going on sale. We sold most games out.

not sure about the Man Utd game..it looked pretty full all that season..
but the e ticketing plan is very misleading..i bought tickets for my brother in law..Fulham game and it looked 25k easy...then on the day its 21k.....and Jason put up a thread about half ST availability which only showed the corners, but if you went to ticket office there were many more available seats.....tbh the plan isnt very good.

Attendance: 28,016 :thumbright:

I recall that it wasn't a sell-out in the end and there was a furore over it at the time, as the club held seats back (particularly in 117/118) :thumbright:

It was a sell out. Look at the link above. There may have been one or 2 empty seats but if they refused to sell anymore then then that has nothing to do with demand which was the point of the argument. 28k was our capacity. We sold out most games
