Regarding the midfielder Carl mentioned - I've just had a look at the Motherwell side and I can't see us interested in any who are playing for them.

But maybe Scott Robertson and Craig Conway from Dundee Utd ? Robertson is a central midfielder while Conway's a wide player. We need cover there definitely !

Possibly Gary Kenneth (centre-back, Dundee Utd) as well as Reynolds ?

For a midfielder think you got it spot on mate, it would either be Conway or Robertson, only players in the midfield at Dundee United that would be of enough class.

Really wasn't overly impressed with the Brum LB Murphy last night. I know it was a great ball by Scott Parker, but Murphy was left for dead in terms of pace, and the ball into the box created West Ham's second goal.

Winston Reid just moved to West Ham in the Summer after being spotted at the World Cup. I'd agree he'd be a very good signing for us. He's young, tall and quick.

Is there not a FIFA eligibility rule that states that you are not allowed to play for 3 different club sides within the same calender year though? If so, that would rule us out of the running to sign him.

He is there looking at 2 players in particular, one of the players I have already stated in previous updates, the other I have not but plays in midfield.

DJ was also at another game last night to run the rule over 2 other players ( both centre halves ), both are non British.

honestly though,i do think its better that you dont say. if we do sign players we will all find out eventually now wont we, patience is something us bluebirds have forgotten of late due to our haste to reach the promised land. we all want to be reassured that we are making steps thats all.
