From Carlos update last night
Frazier Campbell is a target of Malky Mackay's and despite being knocked back in the loan window I understand that Malky is still keen to do a deal and also Campbell is not against the idea of stepping down a division like he was a couple of months ago.
I will stand by the information I receive and that is Malky Mackay will be bringing in players in this transfer window and one of the players mentioned could be a Bluebird by the weekend.
Hmm

It appears this morning that Hull are also very intrested in Campbell , so Malky again needs to act fast or we my well lose out

Short of paying him wages well above what Hull could offer, we would lose out to Hull. Already has links, played there in the Prem, been there on loans and lives there.

lets do a 4 month dosier then get him in May if approved

I think Malky should be very careful, this is another player with dodgy knees, it's a risk IMO, we don't want another Maynard situation
He has only played 45 minutes once this season, so his knee hasn't really been tested, of love to see him in on loan, but not sure about signing him until he has a few 90 mins under his belt, loan with first option to buy would be ideal

WORRIES ME TOO! But Campbell is only a little feller. I think a bit of power
up front might be better.

Not for me thank you, gimme Charlie Austin in front of him any day of the week. Pace and power is what we want. Campbell has terible knees leave him to Hull, they can have him

Campbell is probably better than Maynard in all honesty. He does have questions over his ones but then so does Bellamy. We have an outstanding medical team at this club so I trust them. If you're offering me Austin for £5m or Campbell at £2m... I'd take Campbell

Fraizer Campbell

FRAIZER Campbell is in talks with Cardiff City over a permanent move to the promotion-chasing Championship outfit.
The 25-year-old drove down to Wales on Wednesday evening to discuss a potential move to the Bluebirds, who are also tracking Bolton Wanderers’ England Under 21 striker Marvin Sordell.
Campbell is out of contract this summer and Sunderland have yet to indicate they are interested in extending his stay at the Stadium of Light.
The former Manchester United striker, bought by Steve Bruce in the summer of 2009 for £5m, rising to £6m, has had his career at Sunderland wrecked by two cruciate ligament injuries but has been a regular feature on the Black Cats’ bench this season.
He is able to talk to interested clubs in the last January transfer window before his contract expires and the trip to Cardiff suggests Sunderland are ready to cut their losses on one striker as Martin O’Neill pursues the signing of a replacement.

so his contract's up in the summer? Shouldn't be much of a fee then should there?
