The March

Tue Apr 13, 2010 9:00 pm

When we organised the march it was done within 10 days notice, it was without the backing and support of the trust and the supporters club and we managed to get 2500 marching against Peter Ridsdale and how he has run our club. We took quite a bit of grief too for the march, being told that we would damage the club, we were out to destroy the club, we had ulterior motives etc. etc.

I wonder how many people would turn out and march in support of Peter Ridsdale if there was such an event in say the next 10 days ?

I bet we could get more out in support of SAM and Sam has'nt been around for years :ayatollah:

Jez PR turned on Sam and got the media and some fans to believe that Sam was the root of our problems but finally people are seeing what PR is all about and how much shit he has got the club in. Fans I talk too are understanding where Sam is concerned and thankful for what he has done but they dont say the same about PR.

Remember how desperate PR was to down the March and even questioned your allegiance to the club if you dared to march, now everyone can see why he was so desperate. He knew we were highlighting his failings as a chairman yet again and it is really important to PR that the football world outside of Wales gets to see a, on the face of it, successful vibrant club when in fact it is not. He didnt want that kind of exposure.

i think there would be the riddler and as many staff members who were still scared of him and of course terry phillips and 100 coppers.

the march would start from the neville at 2pm and would be met by 5000 anti ridsdale protesters at the stadium entrance wherupon the police escort would disperse leaving the baying mob to tear him limb from limb.
f**k me ive got my best hard on for months just thinking about it
please excuse me i will be back in 20 seconds

i think if anything the march helped our situation whereas loads of people thought it would hinder it.

Well done. :ayatollah:

The difference between Sam and PR is who's money they were spending ?

Sam invested and used and lost his own money, so be critical if you wish but it was his money.

PR has invested nothing and always used other peoples money.

It is far easier to play with someone elses cash and walk away if it fails than try with your own and stay around to pick up the pieces.

Carl i just meant how random having a march for PR was lol

I know what you meant and the things with sam - AND still now people Q why me n the boy done the march and still sing the praises for PR and what he has done for the club - winds me right up!

BUT one day everything will come to light and then i will ask them WHY they didnt march! :ayatollah:

I think that, with the Malaysians coming in and the tax bill probably being paid off in time, plus the play offs looming, a lot of people wouldn't be bothered with another march. I don't think I would under the present circumstances

Andy, there is no point having one, Carl wasnt saying to have one.

The march achieved two major things - it highlighted PR's incompetence on a national level and stopped his continual spin which IMHO was damaging the club.

I loved him too :ayatollah:

Would you March in support for Ridsdale and recognition of his achievments ?

Re: The March

This is something that I raised in a post on the other board sometime ago when one of them was whining about the march and how few of the 20,000 supporters actually attended the march - I suggested that they should organise a march in support of Ridsdale - soon shut the buggers up :D
