I remember in the late 80s when Palace played Birmingham in the last game of the season and it was fancy dress day. It went off big time and there was a picture in the paper the next day of the Pope fighting Hitler

Darn, it makes a reasonable healthy, average looking Wombat wish to fly back to the UK for the day to involved in what I'm sure will a most magnificent day out. I would buy Claire as many pasty's as she could smash and be humbled by the privilage of purchasing said pasty's for a such a lovely lady. Does she smash them over the chaps heads on the coach or ambush poor northern folk?

Read about a chicken and a elephant going toe to toe at Hull a few ago. Police rounded up a number of people dressed as various animals that day.

I remember Gillingham a few seasons ago when that lad got stuck in toilet. There were a group of bishops/deacons/various religious gets ups and 1 was blessing people as they went to have a slash.
