Cardiff City manager Malkay Mackay will allow £1.5million summer signing John Brayford to return to Derby County after failing to use him so far this season.
The 25-year-old right-back joined the Bluebirds in July but has been unable to force his way into Mackay's starting XI so far.
The former Watford manager is keen on Burnley full-back Kieran Trippier as a replacement.

Brayford obviously isnt up to standard!

Trippier is a right back and he was in last seasons championship team of the year. But like most of you I don't understand why we want him.

Something's not right. However I do rate Trippier, I think he's a very decent player and a good future prospect. Would prefer him to Brayford anyway!

Early days with us I know, but Brayford was woeful against Chievo imo.

Why does everyone assume Brayford has pissed MM off?

Or he's not up to standard? Perhaps it's just a case of him coming here and mentally not being ready. Whether it be he isn't mentally ready yet for the PL or simply cant settle in Cardiff and wants to move back to Derby area.

When he signed, he was the best defender in the championship, now he's gash & Trippier is..

This is most likely a load of bollocks , If Brayford had pissed of Malky then he wouldn't of played him in the cup game. Also he has been injured and only just started coming back
