I linked this first. I feel like all my fame and glory has been stripped from me. :laughing6:

That write-up could hardly have been better if the club had written it itself. Good for Cardiff City.

Such a contrast to the shit we had at Upton Park and a million miles away from the shithole that is Vicarage Road, which made London Road feel comfortable!

Well done City - as an old fella who remembers the urinal in the corner of the Bob bank/canton stand with a little nostalgia (that poor woman's washing :-)) I see this as the way forward, especially with the cost of going to matches nowadays.

Up the City.

I didnt realise all that went on in the away end. Bit of a contrast from some of our away days mentioned above. Upton Park a few weeks ago being one. Shipped in like a heard of cattle, 1 bar open, f**k all toilets! A nice touch to be fair, i can now see how we won family club of the year

Some unfortunate city staff will have to wear swansea shirts to serve in the away bars

I don't know if it is still the case but in previous seasons both City and Swansea have taken their own stewards and catering staff to the away end of each club and looked after our own set of fans.

The article is a extremely positive piece for the club and it is good to see that the efforts are being recognised :ayatollah:

I find it strange that the club goes out of it,s way to treat away fans like this.
WHENthey treat us like dogshite in our own end.over the top stewarding ,no where to sit in the bars, same shite beer as them I suppose....but offering them their own types of food and we can't even get a pint of dark and a clarkie down us!!!!!!

Then in showing the good grace that it has, Cardiff City has set the bar for others to rise to (boom! boom!)

Fantastic initiative, fair play to our club. Hopefully our rival fans will take note and welcome us with open arms to their own grounds ;)

Good article. I don't think I could wear a Swansea shirt though if I was part of the staff.

They do this kind of thing at Reading. At the recent friendly they had Tomos Watkins on tap and the staff wore swans t-shirts. I think Brighton too does it as well.

A bit bizarre as surely it puts the away fans in a good mood and in good voice?

Fantastic. However I wish the club would put more effort into making the match day experience better for City fans.

It is impossible to get served (food or drink) in the grandstand at half time. It is truly pathetic.

Glad the away fans enjoy it

it might make more away fans come down = more money!
and anyway a good away support usually means the home fans react and we get louder! ;)

In reply to this , Us and The Jacks both use the same catering company and many Cardiff boys do work at the liberty when avaliable. Therefore i wouldn't be surprised if it does happen because to them its a another game not the welsh derby

Brilliant article that makes you feel proud in the knowledge that all the staff and heads of department behind the scenes at CCFC are some of the most progressive in the football industry.

It's great to get a reputation for this! As we all know, the experience at many grounds as away fans is pretty shite...

Remember when Carl mentioned in an update many moons ago that the stadium staff took a trip to America to learn about top of the range stadium hospitality? Maybe this is the results?

No problem getting a Clarks pie in the Ninian/Canton corner.

Try and just be a bit positive towards our own club eh?

Anyone moaning about our hospitality... Try and get a drink or food at the Emirates or Chelsea... You'll be waiting until about the 65th minute of the match... CCFC is pretty well organised on all accounts I would say

I hope that is true. Causes less trouble down in the concourse.
