Annis' comments in the Echo..

Sat May 01, 2010 8:36 am

For those who can't be arsed to go around the shop..

''The new investment from malaysia is a brilliant step forward. Fantastic. having interests in such a football-crazy country could make Cardiff City. the only way is up. I am so pleased. this is even bigger than the days of Sam hammam. As for Peter Ridsdale, it is time for him to leave. As a person I like him and have always liked him. The man is a gentleman. But he is also a gambler in football terms and he took it too far.

I don't think he is the right man to run the financial side of a football club.

I can see the football man. He is passionate about football, but he had to learn lessons from his past and i don't think he did.'

To me you've got it spot on there Annis. I don't agree with some of the personal abuse that has been hurled at him, but his days have been numbered for a while, and he has lost any trust from the majority of fans.

Time for a new era to begin at the city and for the first time (apart from sams first few years) in 30 years I can stop worring about whether we will have a club in a few days/weeks/months time.

AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA BELIEVE US......

THE BLUES AREN'T GOING BUST ! :ayatollah:

No point in that though.

It would look sill from the outside.

Ridsdale got lucky and Guy and Borley's money and support kept the club going.

He's on his way, so it really doesnt matter any more.

The future is bright for our club.
