Wrexham fan here.

Growing up as a Wrexham fan I always loved our games and rivalry with Cardiff City, there was something in the air with the atmosphere.

As we drifted apart we couldn't be more unfamiliar with each other if we ever crossed paths in a competitive match again.

It's common knowledge that as far as our Football league status goes the 10 point deduction 2005 killed it, we never recovered on the pitch but off it the battle was already under way.

We had people in charge of us that we're out to kill us once and for all, we took the battle into our own hands. Turning up at the owners houses, doing everything we could to put a strain on there Businesses in Wrexham, Cheshire and further a field.

We marched in our thousands regular and protested at the stadium granted but that's so easy.

If ever I thought a clubs supporters would take something in to it's own hands I would have pointed at you!

Rumours we're spreading at one of our home matches that a certain Ex Chester city owner Steve Vaughan was set to take over the club via our chairman at the time Rob Bicketron. This ended up with directors and owners getting chased through the executive area and down through the stand by hundreds of Wrexham fans it got ugly. Any sponsorship hoarding around the ground with any affiliation to the scum bags at our club got ripped down, police and stewards we're reluctant to do anything. The next day they pulled out http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-w ... uy-2734297

We done so much to make The racecourse, the town, there homes, shops, Spanish Villas a very intimdating place for them.

We may be Nonleague but we won own our club, we got what we want we have in excess of 3'000 current members.

So I ask the Anti-Tan crew why have you done absolutely nothing to make this man want to leave your club?

All I have seen is the odd gathering I wouldn't call them a protest. We must have had around 3 pitch invasions at the time of our troubles bringing games to a standstill and bringing the spotlight onto the owners, I have been following your forum and all I see is hot air. This man has mugged you off it's quite laughable, I actually feel sorry for your fans who I remember visiting at Ninian Park, proper fans with proper passion and Identity willing to give it there all for Cardiff City.

We was there no anger to Malky Mackay when he got behind the re-brand and doned his red and black tie on all occasions, happy to take on Tan war chest?

Did the premiership dream mean that much to you to accept Tans demands?

Did seeing Swansea City in the premiership part owned by their supporters hurt that much that you had to catch them up at all costs?

Cardiff City - REST IN PEACE - 1899 2009

Cardiff Dragons - Fire and Passion awaits you

Dont believe all what you read and/or hear. Cardiff City fans will never roll over, yes it is evitable that when you reach the premier league, you will attract a new fan and that is fine as they might not have been through what a lot of us have. But most fans that have been involved with this club over many many years will always be there to f**k tan over whenever possible if he tries his changing/rebranding tactics.
In your case the owners were local, in our case our owner has nothing to do with South Wales or even the uk, his companies are global so don't go down that route that you did this ad did that whilst we didn't ffs. If the clown had not ried to re brand the club, he would now be a hero down here.
And don't even bring those gypos into it, just read up on the facts about their tinpot club and how they robbed local businesses when they went bust. The are just a pub team like you lot.

Cardiif city, YOUR capital city and way in front of the rest of Wales will NEVER rol over, "we're Cardiff City - we'll always be blue" :ayatollah:

The guy is spot on when he says the fact that we were in the PL was killing you lot and you would have done anything to join us. Plenty of keyboard warriors on here but no one with the cojones to really do anything about it. You all talk a good game, but that's about it. It creases me up that you lot are on here talking about new managers as if you can pick and choose. Do you really think people are queuing up for the job? You have huge delusions of being a massive club, but can't even sell out for your first season in the PL (annis' words, not mine) I think a reality check is due, don't you?

Wrexham lost their league status as a result of a points deduction caused by teams using CVA as away of paying off debts. One day karma will come back and haunt swansea. Band waggon jumpers like you will soon disappear and be back watching the egg chasing.

The jack talks sense, most fans living in some fantasy and love to cover for tan. It's beyond me cannot even comprehend it, quick to organise a protest organise a walk out but how many will actually turn up.

Because its the same subject over and over again. Its obvious someone is generating a new user account and trying to m be clever.

Lets look at it this way then. We have have a billionaire who has poored his money into the club and is about to leave us a stadium of 35,000. His money not ours. Once he converts to shares then we can tell him thanks but no thanks. Rarer clever of us hey but guys like you wont want to hear that.

Re: Greetings from North Wales

unfortunately the Wrexham fan is right... I took part in Wrexham's protest against Hamilton, went up to North Wales on numerous occasions and also on Wreham away games. They showed real passion and showed how much their club meant to them. And tbh, I was shocked that not many were willing to organise a real protest against Tan and his rebrand. That's why a few of my mates and myself decided to stage our own protest and boycott the club --> Vincent Tan...

All the best to Wrexham and it's fans, always felt welcome at the Racecourse, wish more had a backbone like the Northwalian brothers...

Walking back from the game on Saturday I got chatting to a Sunderland fan who said "what's happened to your club? Your a laughing stock! We always thought you lot were true football fans who would never have let this happen"

We should all be ashamed of ourselves. We can blame Tan but WE, as custodians of our club, did nothing to stop it.

People from all over Britain use the term 'fella'. I've heard Geordies & people from the midlands use it.
It's like saying only yardies use the term 'bra'. Plenty of Cardiff wannabes use it lol.

Doesn't matter where he's from he's correct in the fact that we have (including myself) let Tan piss all over our club regarding the rebrand & many other issues. End of.

Re: Greetings from North Wales

Mon Dec 30, 2013 3:14 pm

There's a lot of bullshit written about the rebrand and whether Cardiff fans rolled over. I'm totally against the change of colours and change of badge, I hate it all. Yes, I could have protested by not going to any more games but Cardiff City are MY TEAM, the team I've supported for almost 45 years so why should I stop supporting the team I love just because we've got some controversial character in charge at the moment...and what good would that do anyway? If I stopped going that would have no effect on Tan whatsoever. So my decision was to continue to support my team and enjoy the ride...the ups, the downs, the controversies and everything else which has ALWAYS been a part of supporting Cardiff City. Personally I couldn't give two fucks what the fans of other clubs think about our situation. At the end of the day it is none of their business. It is easy for outsiders to have opinions on us. Let's be honest, most rival fans who post are horrible fuckers motivated by jealousy, hatred and other such lovely qualities so they are hardly going to say nice things about us.

The shame about all of this is that it has set a lot of our own fans against each other but at the end of the day we are still Cardiff City and we all support OUR Club in whatever way we can. We've all been on different journeys depending on how long we've been supporting the Club, how many games we've been to over the years etc and all these factors and the fact we are all individuals with our own points of view contribute to how we see things and naturally cause discussion and debate. Sadly this has all too often spilled over into insults but I suppose that was bound to happen.

Personally I've enjoyed the last couple of seasons and I will continue to support MY TEAM for as long as I choose and I will ignore the negative, ill informed comments and insults from outsiders who only serve their personal agendas by trying to further divide our support which is already under strain because of the actions of Vincent Tan. :ayatollah:
