A forum for all things Cardiff City

I read an article where Harry Redknapp was interviewd, and he stated that he was surprised that Newcastle hadn't made any contact over a proposed permanent move, after being on loan since the beginning of the season.
He said that if someone made a bid in the region of £12-14m, that he was sure the club would sell.
I'm not saying we should go in with that kind of money, but surely worth a sniff?
If nobody else bids, then perhaps a cheek £8-10m bid may be considered?
He's been scoring in the PL, would he be an option?

We'd have to offer him ridiculous money to come here, and even then he still wouldn't come.

When he's happy he can be awesome , when he's not he is awful
Even though a great player on form he's Not worth anywhere near 12-14 mill .
He's very inconsistent and at that price you cannot afford a player like that .
To me he's just a posh Frazier Campbell but doesn't work as hard for his team . I think a sneaky bid of around 5 mill would be about right but would never go higher as there are much better strikers out there for around the 10 million range , and definatly much much better at 12/14 .

Agree about the money being asked, but you can't blame Redknapp for trying to up the price.
He has scored 10 in 17 though. Not bad really.

Agree with one of the posts above. Can be a top player when he's in the mood.
