It is difficult not too come over as very bitter but these referees have been a major part to spoiling our season.

But that's his advantage! Having the shot at goal! If it was in the middle of the field and the ref plays advantage then seconds later they lose possession they wouldn't take it back for a free kick.

How is having a shot at an angle past a goalkeeper and two defenders on the line an "advantage" over a penalty?

Play was allowed in order to see if they could keep it at 11 v 11 as refs are encouraged to use discretion with the interests of the game in mind. He didnt score as a result of the foul forcing him wide so the ref had to give the pen and send Cala off.

Anything else would have been a farce.
