Not bad. Correct.

However that suggests our following will certainly be higher as a result - which is the point being made.

Added to the fact you have had one top flight season in half a century which you finished bottom.... While have had two stints there mostly mid table including a major cup win and European competition and still remain there for our 4th year in this spell suggests we are very much in pile position by a distance.

Biggest club :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

Might have a better team at moment but that is all. Crowds, history and academy all favour ccfc. Get over it elo. Ccfc are the number 1 club in wales. Your history is closer to Wrexham than ours.

Are you serious or just messing around? If the latter then ill leave you to your own devices. :D

In the last half a century cardiff have been in the Top flight once and that finished with you being bottom and the worst team in there. No major silverware to your name in that time either.

In that time we have been in the top flight twice, mostly mid table - now going into our 4th season in there in this stint. We have just competed in Europe being the first non english club to qualify for Europe via the english system and are the most profitable club in the Premier league.

With success breeds fans. You guys were only getting 4,000 15 odd years ago, however success of promotions built a fqnbase. Swansea have had sell outs for the past 3 years so comparing the attendance is futile as nobody knows how much our fanbase has grown since the success we have had, which is a lot more success than we have seen at club level in Wales in the professional era.

as usual Carcrash FC living in the past.. its the here and now that matters and the Swans have more fans, are more popular are more successful than Tans Red army.

outside of their little bubble no one gives a hoot about them, there is only ONE team in wales. Swansea City FC

Success breeds fans, hence why you went from 4,000 to 27,000 - that wasnt due to the baby boom.

Since we have had more success than any welsh club in living memory we have had sell outs, therefore nobody knows how much our fanbase has grown.

Its like seeing who is more popular Coldplay or the Black Eyed Peas by looking at Coldplays attendance figures prior to the release of a record that went global.

attendance figures don't mean anything our stadium is smaller capacity plus there are armchair fans everywhere, just because they don't go to the ground doesn't mean they don't support the team.

we are still waiting with baited breath for proof that Cardiff have more fans than Swansea city..

Last time we were at the same level and you didn't have the capacity to cry about, we had much bigger crowds than yourselves. The fact that you didn't sell out any of your other games asides from the prem... you even had to give away tickets in Europe... you all kept banging on about being in it, evidently none of you actually wanted to go though.

Barry I go back to the discussion we had last week when in the lower leagues we were very much the same.
Yes u avv a 1000 or so more but that hardley justifies the way u lot go on about how much bigger u are.
In the last 50 years we have won more silver wear then u if u include the autu glass.
Yes hardley a big come now we are both doing well compared to the past, but its a final played at wembley or the millennium in our case.
The 2 fan base have grown in recent years thanks to succes on the pitch and new stadiums.
You all bang on about your crowds and stadium is bigger but lets remember u moved to your stadium on the back of some decent seasons in the champ and there for was building a bigger fan base wile we were playing in ours 5 years before u even started building and we when the stadium was planed and built were struggling.
20k was a reasonable amount considering the position we was in.
And who could have predicted the rise we had.
As staited before our first season in the champ was the same crowds as your first and if we had a 27k stadium now we would allso be filling it on certain games and if they did reduction for kids and schools we would fill it every week.
Lets not forget tickets realised by the club for every home premier game are sold out withing a few hours.
So who id to say qho has the bigger fan base, I gess it should be u but it aint as much in it as u would like to think.

if one has reached their capacity then yes. I refer you to Liverpool and Newcastle.

the last time we were in the championship together we hadnt had the success that breeds the fanbase boom.

attendances prior to the fanbase expansion is not proof. As i said its like looking at coldplays sales prior to their global record to see how many fans they have today.

If we both had 40,000 stadiums at the moment, i think you would average 29,000 and I think we would average 25,000. So in my opinion we are talking 4,000. But until that happens we wont know, so its all a bit pointless really isn't it

so by your reckoning Sunderland are bigger than Liverpool? attendance is limited by number of seats its no good bumping on about that it means nothing when the stadium is full....

and as for proof that more people follow the swans well a good gauge is social media
everyone uses facebook etc. and people follow the clubs pages who they support I will leave it to you check that one out but numbers don't lie

Barry. Lets be sensible now.

You know as well as everyone that going on championship attendances before we won the carling cup, got to Europes last 32 and finished 3 times mid table back to back in the Prem with star names on our team sheet is a bit futile isnt it.

You are a good poster when you are honest and sensible.
