Stephen Caulker is on a contract worth £40k a week at Cardiff.
As has been reported QPR have had a bid accepted of £8m for the England International and I have learned they have offered Caulker £60k per week.
Crystal Palace also want Caulker but do not want to pay anymore than the £40k a week he is currently on but are putting a package together which would see Caulker rewarded with a £2m bonus should Palace stay up next season.

If he's currently on £40k and it's been reported we've tried to offer him more money to convince him to stay, then how much is this new offer ?!

Steven Caulker should not be on £60k per week.

Get rid of him and his high wages, we need to start putting a barrier in wages and stop letting players bleed the club dry

Agreed - we need a wage structure in place, cause that's the only way we'll stay within our income.

And no doubt he'll want another "relegation clause" inserted into his contract with them as well.

this boy has learnt how to be a greedy at a young age..if rumours are true of course.. id sooner take a pay cut and play in europe for liverpool , than play for palace or qpr

Maybe Liverpool just didnt think he was worth it and id have to agree. 60k a week for a back up defender.
