Apparently Southampton are interested in Caulker again, give us Fonte and a few million and hes yours

Think he'd do well if he went to Southampton

He seems to go where the money is, can't blame him but can't help he could make more of his career with better moves.

Personally, I believe that Southampton would be a better move for him than Palace or QPR!

its all getting a bit INCEY

Better to go there than qpr or palace

Out of interest why would it be a better move than QPR or Palace?
Southampton is a club in decline, sold ALL their star players & have a new manager in place who knows nothing about managing in the premier league. Smacks of another Fulham situation to me.
Not saying we're the better move by any stretch I'd probably say Palace would be the sensible move but this myth surrounding Southampton finished a whole ago when they lost their manager & their best players. Was a club on the up. Not now I'm afraid.

Saints have loads of money from transfers - they can certainly afford him

No bugger wants to go to Palace, they're struggle next season if they can't find anything to add to their squad.
I'd say you lot are definitely a better bet than Palace as I think Caulker and Rio would be a strong partnership, even if just for one season.
Saints are still the gold standard for developing young players over the past couple of years though, obviously not such a good squad yet this year but they have money to spend and Koeman's supposed to be a good manager, no one else has strengthened enough to displace them yet in my eyes.

I think saints will have a good squad of players, koeman will bring some good players in, I think they have sold 3 player's havn't they and for top dollar

If he goes anywhere I hope it's there. If they can replace their lost players they'll be a very good side again this year

Apart from the Rio Ferdinand bit which may or may not be a pull for Caulker, Tony Fernandez will have put in a call to Mr Tan and there may be an advantage to CCFC in the method of payment. QPR is also close to where Caulker hails from.

Southampton has a lot of positives, okay London is a big city.. but Palace has a rubbish ground, grubby area.
Southampton good area to live, good for bringing up English talent.. wouldn't say decline.. they've lost a lot of good players in the past but this time their squad adapted to the style they play hence why the players like Schnerdlin is it? He's grown a lot.

Dai they are,but I don't see them paying Caulkers high wage demands.
