Solskjaer “Both have experience in our division – and they each have the oomph we need!
I stayed in the north of England after our match at Blackburn and watched Sean play for Reading at Wigan. He caught my eye and you need that type of centre-back in the Championship.
Adam Le Fondre played alongside Sean at Reading and I asked about him because you may know about players and talent, but you don’t always know about personalities.
With Ben Turner out for a good three months we needed a centre-half.

" As for Anthony, with Craig Noone out for a few more weeks we don’t have an out-and-out winger. Anthony can play wide right or wide left. He knows this league and is very consistent. All the reports from people who have worked with them before say they are good people, good players. "
" Right now we have probably completed our transfer business. It would have to be something exceptional, spectacular, now. " That’s more or less me done."
“There will be one or two going out, some on loan, but at the moment we don’t have any outgoings.

Well done Ole a great recruitment job, and you got your targets early, as good a Championship squad as we have ever had, and it would really push last years Premiership squad

Interesting comment from Ole saying that Pilkington knows this league. Interesting in the fact that Ole clearly isn't aware that Pilkington has never played in the championship as he went from league 1 to premier league level.

He saw him play 1 game then asked a player what his thoughts were? Doesn't seem thorough to me?
