It would mean a lot if I could get some feedback on it, your thoughts, if it should be reworded etc. Obviously if you read it and feel like passing it along, Facebook, Twitter etc it would be very much appreciated. It has already been well shared around Twitter, but I'm hoping that it might get to the man himself OR (and I hope for this even more) inspire fans to take time to put pen to paper or fingers to keys and write a passionate but respectful letter to Tan.

We should be in blue, everybody knows this, but the shouting and swearing is going to get us nowhere, like a kid stood outside a sweet shop screaming I WANT IT NOW is most likely to get ignored... I reckon if we could get a few thousand fans to get in a polite but emphatic letter, we'd stand a little more of a chance. We just all need to pull together (easier said than done).

It's my opinion that one of the biggest things hurting us at the moment (ONE of) is the rift that the rebrand has caused between fans. We shouldn't be arguing among ourselves, we should be stood, united under one banner... only at the moment nobody can decide what colour that banner is...

Well done for writing that very well put letter and I really, really hope that it has some effect on Mr Tan.

Many have tried this approach in the past but Mr Tan has failed to even acknowledge at all.

So with that in mind, at the present time and situation, maybe he will listen to us - but I very much doubt it (I feel that It's mainly the S E Asian pride thing. To loose face, in Malacca, Malaysia is NOT an option).

Thank you. I know what you mean, it;s been done before. BUT one can be ignored... can you imagine if he got 1000... that's only 5% of an average home crowd...

or within a month if he got 20,000... still only 25% of actual attendance (AT THE MOMENT!!)...

The rebranding is a major issue that he is unlikely to back down over, regardless of his consideration of compromise. It must be a factor in form for the players to walk out onto the pitch on a saturday/tuesday wearing red to a sea of blue.

I'm hopeful we can start a new wave of polite protest, in a way. One thing that Irks me is that so many people say they are passionate about this (I'm not saying that you're not) but when they go down to watch a game it's too much trouble to even just put on a blue pullover. I *always* wear my blue official shirt in the hope that one day, it might mean something...

Blue jumper, blue hoodie, blue t-shirt (slazanger do a blue t-shirt with white patches on the bottom and neck in SportsDirect for a couple of quid ) my wife brought me a blue city top for a tenner (in the sale towards the end of last season) I wear that over a blue hoodie, not proud of the red dragon BUT it's still a blue shirt

Can you imagine if we managed to pack out the crowd and every single bloody person in there was wearing a blue jumper or tshirt.

The BlueBirds shirts folks on twitter have some REALLY nice looking blue shirts for fairly cheap but £3 isn't asking too much (I don't think) to show your support for your team's history.

On the other hand... Tan leaves, we go into administration, club disbanded, then in 100 years who's going to remember that we were ever blue... or a team!

I'm very much split at times. The best resolution of course would be for Tan to stay, make us blue again and he would reap the reward with returning fans, tickets, merchandise. But I don't think we can afford for him to leave.

As Terry Pratchett would say, it's quite an embuggerance.

Good effort mate, well written and gets the point across. Any effort is better than non and we should never stop trying. We'll be back to blue in the next 2/3 years I believe

I for one dont want a compromise I'm afraid though. It would still cause many issues and is not the answer.
If only someone could tell Tan what adulation he would get if he reversed his rebrand......

They do get a LOT of stick... it's hard to see that a large number of 'supporters' think that the club is s**t...
