If we are not in the top 6 or just outside then what is happening now which looks good will mean nothing. To me it looks like we have got some plan and structure in place now. With the quality squad we are told we have, although I'm not convinced it is that good, this is something we should have had at the start of the season. An average manager could have got us where we are now. This just goes to show what a donkey decision it was to bring in Ole.
So now we have this structure in place. The real test is going to come over the next few games to see if we can get some consistency. If after a set back we can bounce back. If after losing someone through suspension or injury we can keep that structure with the replacement. By Christmas we should know this.

Steve Zodiak wrote:This is the team who according to some posters a few weeks back are relegation candidates, especially after Slade was appointed with no Championship experience. You don't need to know much about football to see that this squad have no chance of being involved in a relegation fight. Not saying they will definitely finish in the top ten, but those who said we are going down will soon be proven to show that they know absolutely nothing about football.

Did Ole ever select the same consecutive team?
Early days for singing the managers praises but he couldn't of wished for a better start.
Maybe Vinnie has found a gem

There is always a mistake or two in Fabio every game, however it can be forgiven as he does so much work getting stuck in to tackles, making a complete nuisance of himself and then getting forward supporting attacks, he is quality in this division
It's great to see the start that Slade has had and the team playing as a team, I hope I will have to eat my words in the next few weeks Can't wait for The Wall on Saturday

I thought Slade deserved his chance at our club. I was one of those who couldn't see anything wrong with his appointment, but obviously "have my head up my arse" to quote Leytonstoneblue, who also could only see us going one way, to the very bottom. Two wins may not mean much at the moment, but can't understand how anyone could possibly think that this current squad could get anywhere close to being relegated. They could survive at this level comfortably without even having a manager.
