' Fair Play to Lee Peltier '

Wed Feb 11, 2015 8:12 am

At the end of last nights match, Peltier came over and stood there for about 60 seconds clapping us fans, but at the same time apologised on a number of occasions for the awful football that we had just had to endure, for me thats a leader and an honest player :thumbright: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

I hope Russell Slade saw it and maybe some honesty from him for a change :thumbright:

I like Peltier, has made up for the loss of Brayford. Looks a solid right back

I'm impressed with him :thumbright: Just need a manager now.

Good to hear Peltier has impressed so far. I wasn't convinced by the prospect of signing him but would never criticise a player before he plays for us. Even the most astounding signings have proved us wrong so I'm always willing to wipe the slate clean when a player joins us. Pleased for him and us.

I like Peltier a lot. He played well again last night,A full back that can defend is just what we needed

Very average, offers nothing going forward, Connolly could do the same job.

Before Slade came here I felt we had a good back bone to the team defensively, for some reason its the one place he wanted to keep messing with. Malone is awful, Peltier solid but doesnt offer enough and yet we pay Fabio a wage to sit on the bench

IMO Brayford was no better for us than Peltier has been, and I'm guessing Peltier is on less a week and we got a fee for Brayford.

Most of our players don't give a shit as it is, so keeping Brayford who didn't want to be here would have been a bad move.

Peltier is a leader. He was club captain at Leeds for certain, I'm pretty sure he's captained Leicester and Huddersfield at points. I can see why Slade wanted him in and he's a good, honest pro.

Could rather a good player than a leader.
