Krav maga would be good for learning self defence or gaining fitness but it would not save you from a wrestling double leg takedown into brazilian jiu jitsu side control,full mount then ground and pound...

Krav Maga is a military self-defense system developed for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli security forces (Shin Bet and Mossad) that consists of a combination of techniques sourced from Boxing, Wrestling, Jujutsu, Aikido, Judo, along with realistic fight training.

Why don't you go down there and throw a double leg on one of the guys and see what happens instead of talking about it?

Sounds pretty cool from what ive heard with some of the self defense techniques if there were a place near me id try it out maybe sometime but busy doing other stuff really
