Duo will miss the game next Tuesday v Cardiff City

Boro are set to be without the services of Ben Gibson and Adam Clayton for Tuesday’s visit of Cardiff City (7.45pm).
Midfielder Clayton will also sit out the trip to Fulham the following weekend after picking up his 10th booking of the season during Monday’s 0-0 draw at Leeds United.
Gibson was red carded in the Elland Road clash for two bookable offences – the second of which was for a foul on Leeds sub Lee Erwin during the final moments – and he faces a one match suspension.
Boro Head Coach Aitor Karanka voiced his disappointment and he said: “Maybe both were yellow cards, but once again I can't understand why it was so easy to show us yellow cards and it's not the same for the other team.
“There were a lot of moments when they deserved yellow cards and sometimes red cards. One player tried to hit Jordan Rhodes and nothing happened.
“There were other moments as well and if Gibbo had to be sent off the game should have finished with six or seven players.”

Good news, need as many of their key players as possible to be missing
