" LOOKING GOOD FOR CARDIFF CITY "
Cardiff City play at home to Brighton this Saturday and are undefeated at home in our last 11 home League games
So with all the good news in the last week and City playing home to one of the top teams and still challenging for a play-off possition, surely City will get at least 18,000 at home
For me it's looks set for a draw, but an exciting draw

Cardiff City at home

18,000
14,000 tops; 13,000 more likely.
I agree it will be a decent game, Brighton will be gunning for 3 points. 1-1 looks a decent bet.
We haven't a great record v Brighton at home but I vividly recall when we beat them 3-1 in 1979 after being 1-0 down to a Peter Ward goal when they were pushing for a promotion spot.

If we take our chances we can win this game,3-2.As for the Att can't see more more than 15,000 sadly.

I can see us winning it that's the story of our season show up against the better teams and don't expect improvement in attendance probably 14'000 Id say.

This clashes with all park football, so about 12,500 for me

Plus it's live on Sky. I will be surprised if the attendence is over 13,000 to be honest.

Ross, but what if we were playing Spurs/Chelsea/Arsenal, Man City etc etc ?

Then it would be a full house of course with all the plastics jumping on the band wagon.
I think a lot of fans will be taking the opportunity to watch the game on Sky this Saturday to save a few quid for France this summer. Wales qualifying for the Euros has impacted attendences in my opinion. Not every fan can afford to do both.

funny how "allegiances" change so readily with a little bit of 'success' but (sadly) I think you will be right on this one, Ross and I would also estimate c.13k to 13.5k as the attendance

Come on guys, there can be a number of reasons why people don't go to matches.
When I lived in Cardiff from birth to the 90s I went to every home game but then I moved to Brum.
I went down for 3 or 4 games a year with my old man but when he died a couple of years ago I haven't been since. It isn't the same going down on your own.
Of course, if City get back into the top 6 towards the end of the season then I will try and pop down for a game or two but it isn't always easy. Believe me, if i lived in Cardiff I would be down there with you most weekends.
Be a little easier on us 'plastics'!

Exactly one thing with Cardiff fans is they always see them selfs as number one supporter and everyone else is a plastic. Most other clubs are exactly the same . If we were in premiership of course games are going to sell out.

You've answered your own question!
12.30 - SKY - Brighton and it'll be pouring down with rain.
Less than 13k including Brighton.
