" YESTERDAY UNBELIEVABLE 180 POLICE AND AT A COST OF "

Bristol City v Cardiff City 12pm kick off

The police bill was approx £80,000

6 PS UNITS were used

A HELICOPTER

6 POLICE HORSES

For a crowd of 15,000, with 18 coaches of City fans escorted in by the police in vans and motorbikes.

Surely with all the money spent on Police intelligence and after our last visit to Ashton gate being trouble free, there was no need for it all, for me the policing was well over the top. There were police with cameras all over pointed at the Cardiff section. Also as reported yesterday an Rv and a ban on Alcohol was put in place on Cardiff fans at the last minute.

For 6 years now Cardiff fans behaviour have been virtually impeccable so surely was there any need for an over the top police operation?

The worst incident if you can call it an incident was about 10 Cardiff teanagers singing songs back to the coaches.

The great news was Cardiff Fans were well behaved and Russell Slade and the team delivered a two nil victory.

Approx 10 Cardiff teenagers surrounded by police after the Bristol City v Cardiff City game.

Told Chivers yesterday, it's gone it's finished and I don't know why still the obsession with it. Have said before, will say it again. Fans have moved on police haven't. By all means police the game, but whoever is in charge of the operation needs to questioned. The worst that could happen is a few CCFC youth kick off, wake up and smell the coffee  :bluescarf:

The FSF is here to help fans who've found themselves in a spot of bother. In this blog Caseworker Amanda Jacks runs through some of the more familiar scenarios and offers a little advice on what to do next...
It’s important to stress that the vast majority of supporters attending games go home without being arrested or having had any real contact with the police (or stewards).
With that in mind we hope you’ll never need the advice in this article but, nonetheless, it is important that supporters are aware of their rights on arrest and know what to do in the event they wish to make a complaint about how they’ve been treated.

So when they film our fans each week simply chanting it could be used to build a case for future prosecution. Absolute lazy policing and the resources and numbers involved yesterday was easy overtime paid for by the taxpayer. Disgusting.

Those cheap and nasty St George's flags looked like they were celebrating the last night of the proms. And if they continue to play like that, it's exactly what they will be doing.

I've emailed the Wurzels with my new idea for their club song but as yet I've had no reply:

All the Police Horses and all the Police men

All the Police Horses and all the police men
