' IF PILKINGTON DOESN'T RECOVER '

Fri Mar 25, 2016 10:31 am

Anthony Pilkington is currently injured on international duty with a knee injury, if he doesn't recover in time for the Derby County home match a week Saturday we will be short of options up front.

With Kenneth Zohore also out injured, what do you think Slade will go with up front ?

Idriss Saadi and Rhys Healey have been playing in the DVP team, so you would think it would be one of those getting the chance.

Would have like City to have signed a striker on loan for the last 8 games before the loan window closed yesterday but we have to go with the squad we got until the end of the season.

We have only seen brief glimpses of both Saadi and Healey so which one would you go with, if any ?

He could play Lawrence up front with Immers and put Noone on the wing.

He clearly doesn't rate Saadi though which is a shame as its another striker he's had under him whose not been able to cut it. Would he look to bring back Macheda or Doyle or Le Fondre if Pilks is out for the season?

Your spot on with all of it, let's hope Pilks recovers. Need some strikers next year but great progress being made. Bradshaw?

Despite investment in the striking department, and people can point to the injuries, however, we still await a goal from a Tan striker.

I know how much he wants to find 'the next Michu' but I hope the search does not impact on the upcoming promotion push.

I would say give Saadi a chance he has worked hard to recover from his injury and shouldn't be sat on the bench all the time.

Although I would like to see Healey given a go aswell.

Saadi looked very lively and sharp in his previous showing for the first team and scored a goal for the development side not so long back where he created it himself out of nothing and found the back of the net from outside the box with a composed and precise finish so he has earned his shot imo and deserves a chance now he is fit
