' ANOTHER BUMPER CROWD SAW CARDIFF CITY TODAY '

Fail to gain the points they needed to get in to the Championship play-offs.

CITY HAVE ONLY GAINED 2 POINTS FROM THE LAST NINE POINTS AVAILABLE AND ITS NOW BECOMING A DISTANCE DREAM THE PLAY-OFFS WITH JUST FOUR GAMES LEFT.

The Crowd were subdued,due to a boring game,that struggled to come alive.
A Boring first-half without a shot on target,game came alive after 70 minutes,after Ameobi came on.
Cardiff with only one defeat in their last 16 home games and QPR with only 6 away wins from 22 games.

After the away defeat to Fulham last Saturday, City's play off hopes looked further away, so today's match against a QPR side with nothing to play for, was for me a win no matter what or else it really was goodbye to the play-offs.


The first 20 mins were even stevens,with Pilkington booked for diving.
After 32 mins,not a shot on goal by either side.

Stuart O'Keefe was later booked.

For me both clubs did nothing to get the first half exciting and this showed as by half-time not a shot on target,a bit of a dull first half.

Second half was started more brightly by both sides.

The first shot of the game was after 54 mins and it was QPR

66th min O'keefe off,Ameobi replaced him.

71st min game came alive Whites cross, Morrison header saved off the line.
Then Noone shot over the bar.

80th Lex Immers was replaced by Zohore.

82nd min Whittingham was replaced by Gunnarsson.

City were going for it in the dying minutes,Zohore had a shot saved off the line.

But over all a boring draw.

Nice to see a decent crowd again, couldn't attend as expected due to daddy duties. Shef weds are stuttering but we aren't taking advantage, time is running out but I wouldn't say its a miracle needed. Just one result for us and a defeat for them would put huge pressure on them for our game. Can't complain with out home form, you won't just keep winning them, it's the championship but our away points of late is stopping the play off push. Brentford up next.

For me it seems we have fallen back into the trap of not getting a shot off again. How many shots on target did we have today? Not sure?

I think its a simple game and everyone is guilty of over complicating it sometimes. We have got great strikers of the ball, ralls/whitts/pilks but saw none of it today. Noone sailed 1 over the bar from what i remember and that was it from outside the area

Whitts has in the past done a fantastic job,but we can't rely on him enough.
None is sometimes on fire and other days goes missing.
Calls never really shots that much.
