' CARDIFF CITY FANS GOING TO SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY '

' So How Many City Fans Will be there? '

Cardiff City's biggest match for two seasons.

Reading,Fulham and Bristol City away,Cardiff have taken between 1,462 fans to 1,950.

:ayatollah: ' Cardiff City's three largest away followings 2015-16 Season ' :ayatollah:

Bristol City v Cardiff 1,462 City fans travelled.
Reading v Cardiff 1,820 City fans travelled.
Fulham v Cardiff 1,950 City fans travelled.

So what will City take away this time?

Its Cardiff's last away game in the Championship this season and the most important game so far.

Cardiff can have up to 4,500 tickets if they want.

In my opinion about 4,000 should go.

And no Carlos coaches going
Due to heavy handed police intervention
Over reacting to an odd can of beer being seen on our bus
25% kids 25% oaps and 50% well behaved self policed young fans
Now we have to make our own way
Some will now drink on the train all the way there with no old heads to keep them in check and out of trouble
Oh we'll see you there
Up the bloobirds :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Just a shame we haven't given ourselves a chance for the game i.e. won the previous 2 games before Bolton...

Were not exactly a team to go all out for bust are we..... :(

Drove up 3 years, there's plenty of car parks around the ground. Think we parked about 5 mins away, cost us £5 - and that was for a mini bus :ayatollah:

Quite a few clubs have boycotted this ground due to the over the top ticket prices..

If you get there early enough try the side roads off Herries Road (Penrith Road - Longley Avenue West area). 10 minute walk back to the stadium.

for the price of tickets either there should be a full boycott or our club sells tickets at £10 and pay over the rest! :old:

If they want support for such a big game, let them assist!

The Owls are advising supporters to book their tickets for Saturday’s crunch clash with Cardiff in plenty of time.

The Championship contest will serve as Wednesday’s highest league attendance of the season and tickets are selling extremely quickly following the weekend’s results.

The club will issue updates throughout the week, with early indications pointing to an all-ticket game and no pay on the day facility.

Cardiff have been allocated the upper tier of the West Stand.

Thats what I think, We should really be looking at 3,000-4,000 for our biggest away game for over two years

its true all right
they were going to ban
but changed there decision just before the Bolton game leaving carl no time/chance of arranging transport for us
weve travelled with carl on approx. 85%of this seasons away games
only travelling on our own for some night games
theres never any trouble with the regular travellers
most important game of the season and weve been left to sort other travel arrangments due to no fault on carls behalf
just hope he doesn't decide to pack it in next season ,due to the un warranted hassle

Totally agree annis we should be taking a good few thousand up there, seems a sign of the times that the supports just not there anymore.Granted the tickets and travel are quite steep, there's 30 odd of us lot going up on the train a mixture of the old Neville lads & docks boys should be a good a Craic, but your talking £100 done on your ticket and travel that's before you take into account your beers and grub :bluebird: :ayatollah:

Traditionally, we do like the m4 don't we.... 10 years ago we'd fill the allocation no worries, I don't know these days.

There's probably 5,000 plus Cardiff fans eyeing a few expensive days / weeks in France within a few weeks. A hundred quid plus quid buys a fair few French beers.

That could well be the biggest factor in our likely relatively low following this coming weekend. Cant believe I'm not going to go but needs must.

Steve,

As you know and rightly say there is never any trouble on my coaches, we turn up on time everytime, no issues with any of our regulars on the coaches or at the games.

I decided not to run a coach, or even two as there is enough interest, to Sheffield on Saturday and I can at least relax and enjoy the day without any hassle and I don't mean from those who travel with us as I have no problems with any of them at all.

The lads are all still going so we will see them up at Sheffield. :bluescarf:

I have not been suspended or banned from the travel group and actually been commended, believe it or not, for the way our coaches are run

I would go but refuse to pay the ticket price on principle. I ain't giving them my money. It's a rip off and again the fans are being treated like shit.If the tickets were more reasonable then we would take a lot more. If a club wants to take the piss I will stay at home as I feel strongly on this.

Between 1,200 - 1,500 ridiculous pricing, long trip, france looming and lets be honest while still a good day out not how it used to be. It's not a play off match and while big, even a win and it's not in our hands. Play off match different.
