Bellamy and Giggs would be good..
Get rid of the rest and start to build a future with the youngsters..

I'd be happy with either Pearson or Warnock as manager. As far as Craig Bellamy is concerned assistant manager and that's because of his inexperience. Last thing we'd want is another Ole at the helm.

If that's true, and it maybe, then it'll be Trollope as he would cost nothing - maybe few grand raise on his current salary.

You can drop the odds on skybet by like 3 people putting £5 on any option
Manager markets mean absolutely nothing in betting terms

This is true I put a tenner on Trollope at 6/1
Who remembers shay given was 1/10 to join us they even stoped taking bets on it in the end everyone thought it was a dead cert just because of the odds

Wouldn't surprise me if we get someone right out of left field, someone who hasn't figured in the betting yet. Id rather we take our time and consider who is best man for the job and not rush into an appointment. The rebuilding process has begun (slowly). We need a someone who can make real progress in bringing fans back on board, a better brand of football than we have seen and most of all a proven manager with a track record of wheeling dealing. If the rumours are true that there is a budget, lets not waste it on journeymen, strikers who are shipped on loan as soon as they arrive in the city or youngsters who are benched for seasons on end.

Bellamy needs to cut it as a no. 2 first, before being given the reigns as a number 1.
The Gobby golf swinging little....

Bellers drifting but look at Neil Warnock here, as rumours of "constructive talks" gather

I want Justin Edinburgh myself. A good bet for the odds is the Preston manager Simon Grayson

Justin Edinburgh did a fantastic job at Newport County and I'm sure someone higher again will soon take a punt on him
Will it be us?? Who knows, but with him not currently showing in the betting there's a pretty good chance! After all, this is Cardiff City FC!

If it's Trollope, then we will have gone from
Slade and Trollope to
Trollope and Slade
Wed May 11, 2016 12:50 pm
I'm not into betting particularly but I've just been told these odds show there is no real favourite; just a large bunch of strong possibilities
They find Warnock's shortening odds 'interesting' but they would be looking for 'odds-on' candidates before saying someone was looking good for the job
Interestingly on that point, Craig Bellamy started 'odds-on' but has since drifted back into the list of possibilities rather than being the out and out favourite
In my betting friend's view: "Still an open field"

My thought is if they wanted Trollope then it would have made more sense to ask him before announcing Slade had changed roles and do it all in one press release.

Paul Trollope 2/1 - Maybe
Paul Clement 3/1 - Maybe
Neil Warnock 4/1 - Good shout
Craig Bellamy 6/1 - Good shout
Rob Page 6/1 - No
Steve Cotterill 6/1 - No
Neil Ardley 16/1 - Good Shout
Nigel Pearson 16/1 - Maybe
Dave Jones 18/1 - No
Tim Sherwood 20/1 - Maybe
Ryan Giggs 20/1 - No
Scott Young 20/1 - God no
Gary Bowyer 25/1 - no
Paul Lambert 25/1 - Maybe
Martin O'Neill 33/1 - No
Gary Neville 33/1 - No
David Moyes 33/1 - Good Shout (Unlikely)
Neil Lennon 33/1 - No
Karl Robinson 33/1 - No
