' Ex Premier League Star being monitored by Cardiff '

Gary O’Neil: The former Bluebirds midfield man, who had a successful stay at Cardiff City,is out of contract come this summer.
Norwich who are revamping their own squad after Premier League relegation, apparently Cardiff have shown interest in him and were monitoring O'Neil at the end of last season.

Paul Trollope has not been given a big budget for this summer,so will be expected to pick up some good summer signings, without having to pay many transfer fees.

Maybe because they've been relegated they know he could do a good job for them, perfect for the Championship.
They were ready to release him,lets hope it goes wrong
On a serious note he wanted to stay,they were unsure.

Said on another post recently that I thought he was one of our best ever loans...........but probably about 15 years ago

Was great when he was here before but that was years ago.

Past his best now.

I'd rather see us concentrate on younger players.

When he was here he made an amazing impact probably the biggest impact of any loan however that was a long time ago.
