' CITY SET TO MOVE MORE PLAYERS ON SAVING OVER £4MILL A YEAR '

' MORE CARDIFF PLAYERS SET TO LEAVE/ESPECIALLY COSTLY ONES '

Vincent Tan wants strikers Federico Macheda and Adam Le Fondre moved on as soon as possible, not only because they don't figure in the Bluebirds plans for next season, but between them, they are costing the club a staggering £200,000 a month.

Another costly player is Tom Adeyemi, City were hoping Leeds United would keep him on and buy him for a £1million, but with his wages approx £80,000 a month City would like to see Adeyemi find a new club as soon as possible.

Matthew Kennedy not a costly player but a player who was sent out on loan last season by previous manager Russell Slade,is hoping that he can persuade new manager Paul Trollope to give him a chance.

Kagisho Dikgacoi another player that is costing City over £60,000 a month,Dikgacoi started last season well, but faded as the season went on.

CARDIFF CITY HAVE ALREADY RELEASED THESE PLAYERS BELOW,BUT MANAGER TROLLOPE KNOWS IF HE IS TO HAVE FUNDS HE NEEDS TO GET RID OF MORE OF THE BIGGER EARNERS ABOVE.

City Defender Ben Turner and striker Kenwyne Jones have become the two latest players to be released by Cardiff City.

Goalkeeper Joe Lewis, forward Etien Velikonja and midfielder Filip Kiss had already been let go by the Bluebirds as they look for a fresh start under new head coach Paul Trollope.

Ben Turner, who scored in the FA Cup final defeat to Liverpool back in 2012, played 31 times for the club in the Premier League during their time in the top flight but is now deemed to be surplus to requirements.

Meanwhile Trinidad and Tobago international Jones, who had a spell last season on loan with Al Jazira in the United Arab Emirates, has not been offered fresh terms at the Cardiff City Stadium and will also be looking for a new club.

Can't argue with letting any of those players going. None have really delivered for us, and makes sense to save the money they're costing the club - as long as Trollope gets some of that money to bring in new players with.

Only player from that list I'd even think about keeping is Kennedy. When he first arrived, he showed a lot of quality and seemed to have potential. But since we signed him permanently a year ago he seems to have faded and struggled to get anywhere near the first team. Hopefully Trollope will give him another chance.

Saying all that, Trollope probably won't be able to do much until he's back from the Euros.

All the players City need rid of are flops that never came close to justifying their wages. Shocking mismanagement by Tan, Ole & everyone involved

Can we sell noone please!? if he can't hit the by line and get a cross in its time he went. It's either he's incapable or its just terrible coaching/instructions

I was a major doubter of Noone too. Especially the 14/15 season, he was simply awful.

It frustrates me because he can be brilliant! Man City away in the PL. Superb goals against Fulham and Wolves.

I think he could be a vital player for us if he shows us consistency and hopefully Trollope can bring the best out of him! :ayatollah:

RE: Noone,
If you want Noone to put crosses into the box play him on the side of the pitch that he can get the ball across.
Left footer playing on the right, his instinct will be to cut in and that's what he does.

I feel sorry for the guy as he is constantly being played on the wrong side of the pitch, what do we expect?

He needs to go outside players. When he does it he does well but seems his confidence is shot or slade has just given him instructions to try the same trick every time so he gets sussed out after ten mins.

Party time!!!

The 3 of them are never worth those wages tbh

even ALF - bit part impact is how he made his name and thats it.

They would all do well with a DIV 1 move in my opinion as championship is a very hard division if you are not firing on all cylinders

Shocking amount of money wasted and the sooner they stop bleeding our club and the are gone the better.

Personally I would Kennedy the game time providing he is hungry for it.

I'm expecting a big season from Noone this coming season now Slade has gone. He is one of few I hope stay.

It doesn't matter if you play Noone on the right, left, in the middle he lacks pace and has no balls.
