' EVERY PLAYER WITHIN CCFC HAS A PRICE/BUT '

Cardiff City are keen to hold onto their better players this summer, but have always had the stance that every player within the club has a price and serious offers will always be listened to.

To be fair to Cardiff City, most clubs outside the Premier League are willing to sell any of their players for a price.

But,what City need to do is,this season is back up their words and show ambition, they kept saying they were backing Russell Slade last season, but in fact never gave him a penny in the transfer market for the 2015-16 season.

New Cardiff City manager Paul Trollope has said he needs at least three quality players for next season and of course the best players from last season to stay.

It will be very interesting to see what happens this Summer in the transfer market, as if City want an increase in crowds, fans will want a bit more ambition than last season.

No more smoke and mirrors from the top brass. Ameobi as the biggest signing after declaring they were backing Slade :?

If they are not going to spend money, then be honest about it, fans don't appreciate being lied to all the time

Unless we offload some of the big earners there won't be money to spend, like last season and the next we are still paying Premiership wages.

It's not that the club don't want to back the new Manager and as was the case with Slade last season due to high wages and the reduced parachute payments we have to balance the books and not fall fowl of the Financial Fair Play rules.

It's for this reason the rules were brought in to stop clubs living beyond there means.

We need to offload the high earners sell one or two of our better players like Marshal or Manga or alternatively generate further income One example being to sell the naming rights to the stadium for example.

So head out of the sand we all want new, bigger better players but we must also avoid at all cost breaking the Financial Fair Play rules again.

One club who I can see falling foul of the rules having spent nearly 35 million this season and being placed under the embargo is Derby, they gambled big not only on fees but high wages.

The only players we need to get rid of are those we don't need, like Alf and Macheda. We must keep Marshall and Manga, or we have no chance at all. Unless I'm mistaken Vinnie the Red is still a billionaire, but is he actually interested in us? Or does he just want the gold parachute before he jumps? We'll see.

I have no problem with selling players aslong as we have a replacement lined up and we get a good price for the player/players.
Nearly all clubs are selling clubs

Billionaire or not Financial Fair Play rules dictate owners can't just pump money into a club, you have to generate any money coming in, it's called P&L.

So like many other Billionaire owners there hands are tied, and for the good of the game it's the best thing that's happened in a long time.

You can inflate the revenues as a billionaire, ridiculously overpriced sponsorship etc, ask Man City how to do it

A traditionally mid-ranking team like Man City can spend a net sum of £62mil every season in the last 5 years without any ffp issues.

Man City did it by agreeing to sponsor the stadium by some stupid amount, something like 100 Million a season hence the name Ethiad.

It's one option open to us, and any sponsorship is classed as income, although I doubt it would be 100 million a season, never the less Financil Fair Play rules still exist.

Man City got stopped from doing it again as rules states anyone connected to club via a company cannot invest into club! That's why billionaires cannot pump X amount of money into their club!

Every player has a price at every club.

People who don't like Tan should he pleased we are trying to break even.

Our issue is we have s about squad with a lot of average players on big wages.

they got stopped but it still happened Allan  There are ways around ffp

It comes down to Tan looking to make CCFC a profitable club to sell as he has already stated. Man City owners are in it for the prestige

What point is that? I'm just making the case that if Tan wanted to put his money into the club above the ffp threshold he could. He doesn't want to do that, he wants to sell the club at a profit, the £40million budget given to Malky was meant to stabilise us as a PL club

Do Man City's ownership have the same ambition as Tan?

The embargo was not a problem, one can consider it convenient in the objective which is Tan getting all his money back

You don't need a Billionaire that's aim is to run the club sustainably. Swansea City Directors nowhere near the wealth of Tan. All that Tan's wealth has meant is that the club can stack up record debts because he has leverage with the bank

Nobody ever thought the club would go down this path, everyone got excited because they thought Tan was prepared to write off some of his acquired wealth, now we're stuck with him until he gets his money back.

It's Tan Out for me and always will be, I'm not hiding that
