I had to use a pencil for the last general election as well.

If it bothers people that much then they can bring their own pen, and I know many have done that :thumbright:

My polling station had a choice of pen and pencil. I'm sure if they wanted to fix the vote they have a better way of doing it. Then rubbing out pencil not like any trace totally disappears. :-)

Nothing more cringe than these posts on facebook demanding everyone use a pen. I have always voted in pencil, they do not rub it out. They can trace your vote if they need to, if the erasing of votes was done on a mass scale the electoral commission will find out and will be able to prove it.

Literally the thickest people on my facebook are saying to bring a pen.

Funny how it only seems to be the out voters too.

I have a feeling there's an awful lot of people who voted yesterday that have never bothered to vote before based on these comments

I wonder if they'll bother now that we, allegedly, have control of our own destiny or whether they'll blame all the shit we're going to go through on the EU for the next 10 years
