I'm sure Tan is looking through his other teams for free transfer options while he pockets the transfer fee.

i respect that nubbs but all that seems to be going on is trying/selling our best players and bringing in mediocre replacements.i get the cost cutting but cmon were going from a top championship side to a mid table one at a rapid pacenubbsy wrote:tylorstown18891 wrote:tell me about it what a c**t.Neokutai wrote:pembroke allan wrote:Good move all round hopefully we will get that striker now?

Guys I'm not a Tan fan but for someone who just settled our 180m debt we can't really acuse him of lining his pockets with a poxy 2m transfer lol

He paid off that debt in readiness to sell the club( once the final parachute is paid).

could it be that I read Fabio wanted to see out his contract with us so his motives are unquestionable ??pembroke allan wrote:tylorstown18891 wrote:Takes the piss sell our best players and bring in mediocre.ive done nothing but stick up for tan but this cost cutting is getting out of control were gonna be on par with Huddersfield soon ffs
Could it be that fabio wants to go have you considered that? easy to blame club and not players ambitions!

im not a regular tan slater quite the opposite in fact but can you see my point with selling our best and buying mediocre? That's the point I was trying to make in my opinion the cost cutting has gone to farSven wrote:tylorstown18891 wrote:i respect that nubbs but all that seems to be going on is trying/selling our best players and bringing in mediocre replacements.i get the cost cutting but cmon were going from a top championship side to a mid table one at a rapid pacenubbsy wrote:tylorstown18891 wrote:tell me about it what a c**t.Neokutai wrote:pembroke allan wrote:Good move all round hopefully we will get that striker now?

I know you're not really interested in the "good" of Cardiff City FC as a whole, fella, but have you stopped to think whether Tan is actually learning from his mistakes and trying to pt the club in a position where it/he is no longer in debt and can then action a plan to take us forward again??
As 'nubbsy' rightly says, he has (to date) repaid an awful of historic debt (i.e. that which was here before he arrived) and also much of that which he helped build after his involvement
Tan is obviously not a stupid man (maybe 'football' naive) and it is in his own interests to see Cardiff City FC as a solvent, progressive club before he moves us on to the next temporary custodian
Slate him over his handling of the red and some other things, but have a little think about some of the good he has actually achieved with little or no credit because he obviously does care to a large extent
As for Fabio (the actual subject of the thread ) I am disappointed to see him go and think he was well suited to the style of play under Paul Trollope. However, given another chance at the Premier League and seeing as how we will get (a) a good fee for him, and (b) a fair bit off the wage bill, I fully understand both sides position and I wish him all the very best when/if it is completed
