Bristol Rovers will check on the fitness of Lee Mansell and Liam Lawrence as they prepare to face Cardiff in the EFL Cup first round.
Boss Paul Trollope is not expected to make sweeping changes to his Cardiff side for the trip to his former club.
Trollope insists he will not make wholesale changes ahead of Sunday's Sky Bet Championship home game against Queens Park Rangers.
But David Marshall, Peter Whittingham, Joe Ralls and Anthony Pilkington could all get a rest, with Simon Moore, Stuart O'Keefe, Aron Gunnarsson and Craig Noone coming in.
Defender Sean Morrison is also set for his first competitive start since undergoing ankle surgery in May, while Kenneth Zohore could feature in attack.

No 'wholesale changes' for Cardiff tomorrow
Paul Trollope
It won’t be wholesale changes but we will look at personnel. We want to be fresh so we will use to the squad to make sure every game we go into we think we can win and fresh.
It’s the next game. We’re aware we’re going into four games in ten days, the television has condensed things. It’s not ideal but we’ll look at the squad and the players available and use them accordingly. This early in the season it’s about wins on the board and breeding confidence.
Trollope looks ahead to Bristol Rovers game
We’re fully fit, everyone came through the weekend well. A few have lacked minutes but they have had a hard few days ahead of a busy period. It’s a cracking cup tie, it’s a place I know well, a tough place with a good atmosphere, something of a local derby and a keen rivalry. They’re a good side, they’ve had two good years, Darrell’s done a good job and I’m pleased to see them bounce back. We’ll go there with a lot of respect for them and it will be a good challenge, but one we’re confident if we get to our level that we can go through.

The OppositionHistoryBristol Rovers Football Club is a professional association football club based in the city of Bristol, England. They compete in League One, the third tier of English football. The team plays their home matches at Memorial Stadium, in Horfield, a suburb of Bristol, and is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.
The club was founded in 1883 as Black Arabs F.C., and were also known as Eastville Rovers and Bristol Eastville Rovers before finally changing its name to Bristol Rovers in 1899. The club's official nickname is The Pirates, reflecting the maritime history of Bristol. The local nickname of the club is The Gas, from the gasworks next to their former home Eastville Stadium, which started as a derogatory term used by fans of their main rival Bristol City but was affectionately adopted by the team. According to a survey conducted in December 2003, Cardiff City and Swindon Town are considered their second and third biggest rivals.
Rovers were admitted to the Football League in 1920 and have played there ever since, apart from spending the 2014–15 season in the Conference Premier.[4] They previously came close to losing their league status in 1939, when they were re-elected after finishing bottom of Division Three (South), and in 2002 when the team finished one league position away from relegation to the Football Conference. Their highest finishing positions were in 1956 and 1959, on both occasions ending the season in 6th place in Division Two, then the second tier of English football. Rovers were Football League Trophy finalists in 1990 and 2007.

History and descriptionThe club moved to the stadium in 1996 and two years later bought the ground from the then owners Bristol Rugby Club. Although the Memorial Stadium has seen some changes since the Football Club took up residence, it still has the feel of a rugby ground about it.
On one side is the West Stand, which with its pavilion looks more like a cricket stand. It has a row of hospitality boxes across the top, with a few rows of seats in front. Below is an area of terrace. Just under this stand's roof is a television gantry and a small electric scoreboard. The stand runs for about half the length of the pitch and straddles the half way line. On one side of it, towards the Blackthorn end is a small covered terrace, used as a family area, whilst the other side has a small covered area of temporary seating, called the South West Stand. Opposite is the Uplands Stand, taller than the West Stand, but similar in length. This stand has covered seating to its rear and terracing at the front. It has open terracing to either side, one of which is given to away supporters. The team dug outs are located in front of this stand, although the dressing rooms are located behind the West Stand. This leads to quite a procession of players and officials at half time and full time.
At one end is the unusual looking South Stand. This was originally erected as a temporary stand, to fill the previously empty end. It has now been opened for a number of seasons now, although it still looks, with its green seats and bright white roof, more suitable for an outdoor show jumping competition than a football ground. The stand only runs for just over half the width of the pitch, has several supporting pillars running across the front and has been nicknamed 'the tent' by Rovers fans. Opposite is the Blackthorn End, which is a covered terrace for home supporters.
