" SO CARDIFF CITY FANS? "

" SO CARDIFF CITY FANS, WHERE HAS IT GONE WRONG? "

The sales of Fabio Da Silva,Captain/ever present goalie David Marshall and goalie Simon Moore in my opinion did not help Cardiff manager Paul Trollope, as you immediately unsettle your side and all what you have achieved and done in pre-season.

Of course, it is fair to say that given how long Paul Trollope had been around this current squad, he was not really in a weak position as he was with his squad last season and had the whole pre-season with them.Trollope,so new all the type of players we needed for the this season as he knew our strengths and weaknesses.

I could blame Tan again for our sales? but Trollope has to take some responsibility as he is our manager and should say I need him or I don't need him, make the owner respect you. They say Trollope is part of the transfer committee?

I do say the sale of David Marshall was really bad business as we have already lost points through his departure and I know it unsettled our squad.
The departure of Marshall seems to have drained confidence from the whole defence. The players at the back have been the best, most consistent part of the team for a long time.

I am hoping and actually believing Ben Amos will fill Marshalls position and in time will command the defence like Marshall did.

The signing of already injured ex Villa player Joe Bennett to me is a mystery, signing a player who was already injured not played so far in nine of our first team games and still no where nearly fit, for me thats a bad signing?

I read in my other topic that many believe new striker Rickie Lambert is the answer and is playing well, so if that's the case, so where do others see our weaknesses and what's the problem?

What is the scale of the current crisis as we are bottom of the Championship, leaking goals, struggling to score goals, players heads go down immediately we conceed a goal.

Cardiff City may no longer boast one of the very best squads in the league but it is far, far better than one win in nine first team games, particularly given a relatively generous fixture list start to the season. Given it's experience, it certainly should be managing the latter stages of games better.

Which leaves us facing up to the difficult and troubling question: Do Cardiff City now face the relegation fight of their lives? and it gets tougher the longer your in the bottom three.

No team or squad, is too good to go down .
Unless our luck turns (because we have been unlucky , in some games) we will struggle and go down .

Wez, thats very true,to many players so far have been played out of position and I honestly can not understand why?

Is Trollope the new Ole without money and not knowing what he is doing with the players?

I see our weaknesses as Trolope and Tan,

Trolope does not have a clue, and is too weak to speak out to Tan

Tan needs to sell and leave football alone as he only wants his money back before going anyway.

I can (and have) lived with lower league football we all have, so poor squads are expected, but not from a owner who see ££££ coming in from selling assets instead of investing (you need to speculate to accumulate)

we had a great chance to share in the premiership sky bonanza if promoted last season, what did he do...weaken us, yea really good business man!! NOT

playing
Wilson, ,noone, Ralls out of form isn't helping and Pilkington is not a striker

On Bennett, a little odd, but if we did not sign him, someone else would of would, think as a free it's still a good signing for the club, but time well tell on that one.

Think other than Marshall, the Squad that Slade played last season is still there, Fabio gone but did not play that much under Slade really. so you have to say poor at best, Trollope for me as the manger the buck stops with him, would I give him time, NO.. if I saw a Cardiff side getting better each game, or at least showing fight on the pitch, then yes you could say give him time, but I don't.

Ok, what has happened is done, gone end off YES it will still go on.
My issue is atmosphere & Stewarding, every club has there 12th man, we Have not now, fair play to the drummer he tries to keep it going & good on him.
Someone needs to see Wayne Nash, as we not allowed to in certain areas or stand & point at away fans... Yet they are treated like Royalty. We need an area like Crystal Palace were you can create atmosphere, hence swapping the 2 ends behind the goals.
STILL keep the no man land between the fans, as you look at the photos the family stand is still nearly half empty now and the Canton stand is 3 quarters full.
I know what sort of negativity replies will get on here, like Policing etc. What iam saying is Stewarding needs to be a bit more relaxed :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

The Joe Bennett signing is a real mystery? ? ? Knowing a player is injured and we give him a contract?? We we that desperate? ?

I agree with a lot of points in here. Tan is feeling the consequences of his re-brand. He might have thought a quick return to blue would solve all his problems but the club's attitude to everything is just lacking connection. They showed signs at the end of last season that they were heading in the right direction but the appointment of Trollope, no investment in the team, selling key players, Tan invisible, and no concerted effort to bring the fans back plus the old issues of no pre-match entertainment, no switching of the ends, and a dire PA announcer means this isn't just one or two issues, these are dozens of issues that are contributing towards a toxic environment.

On the topic of Bennett, I actually think he's a decent signing. Yes, he might be injured but he could prove to be a key player when he returns so to get him on a free means waiting for his injury to mend is worth it in my opinion.

I never ever post anything negative..but I really have grave fears for this season, for once we appear to be rolling over with little fight and this in my experience stems to problems in the dressing room, I know a few wins lifts the team but that looks a long way off, just hope we don't get cut adrift !

Lauren Ann McNie
I honestly don't believe Trollope could make Tan respect him. The sheer arrogance of our owner would make it difficult for any manager to fully take the reigns... it seems that if you go against him then you're out. Unless, of course, you're his Buddhist mother...!

Has Lambert scored yet? I don't think he's what we need, he looked at bit sluggish to me on the weekend. Le Fondre is the kind of player we need, unfortunately we don't seem to have other players whose style supported his. Not to mention our recent managers and coaches seem inept when it comes to getting the best out of strikers.

Season tickets will be cheaper in league one, right?!

Byron Omri Flynn
For all you say about Tan he doesn't lace the boots up..there should be a level of personal professional pride about the team that is sadly lacking !! These guys are not bad players and if the system doesn't fit try harder..the Tan argument simply deflects the blame here !

Lauren Ann McNie
But Ole and Slade had a "different football philosophy" (or whatever nonsense they called it) to Tan and they were dismissed... if Trollope goes against Tan's "philosophy" then he'd probably be shown the door, too. As would the next guy.
The sooner he is out of our club the better (easier said than done, I know...).
You're right, there is no pride in the team... the players and staff are obviously frustrated but if they're stuck playing a style that doesn't suit them, what can we expect? I thought they played pretty well during the first half against Leeds but without a goalscorer good performances mean nothing.

Maybe you think I am deflecting but I honestly believe Tan is the problem. I can't fully blame the staff for doing what the boss wants.

Byron Omri Flynn
The issue that I have had for years now is without Tan what?.. dating back to the 60s Julian Hodge never wanted us.. so we had Tony Clemo.. David Sullivan not interested.. the Celtic Manor lot don't want to know.. so who ??..

Neil Hasson
I'll tell you now. We're going to be relegated. We've sold good players and replacements are not good enough to be honest. We're supposed to have the best fitness coach and conditioning coach in UK yet for me most the team in last 10 minutes of every game are blowing out of their arses. I've already resigned myself to relegation

The Problem is not TAN alone Wake up and smell the roses everybody he has two advisors Chairman and Chief exec ever present and in my opinion are just freeloading off TAN as the advise they give him and the lies they tell us are unbelievable, yet some think they are telling the Truth ? Not checked but the other Clubs Tan is involved with don't seem to have the same problems but they have different people running the Clubs for him. Dalman you read these comments would you care to COMMENT ???

Clive Mallard
If TAN not up to changing Chairman and Chief exec and bring in Proper football people unlike Dalman the Broker who hasn't got a Clue. Trollope should be man enough to admit he's out of his Depth and what the f**k is Lennie Lawrence doing back ? TAN please come and Talk to the Fans and not just those hand picked by your stooges ?? You still have time if you listen to Cardiff's fans and not the Crap your being told by Dalman. If you had wiped debts there would be no FFP issues so who's advise have you been listening to ?
