PAUL TROLLOPE TALKS TODAY ABOUT HOW HE FEELS

PAUL TROLLOPE TALKS TODAY ABOUT HOW HE FEELS AND IS REACTING TO CARDIFF CITY'S START SO FAR.

Says "the spirit is strong,as you can all see that"

PAUL TROLLOPE:

'It's how you react that defines you'

"This is football, the pressure is always on, to bounce back, not to get carried away when winning, from chairman, from fans, this is football. It’s how you react to the dips that define where you are and where you are going. There are some feelings you don’t want to be feeling, but we are where we are and I take responsibility and it’s my programme we set, but I have a belief although things haven’t gone our way they will turn"

"Hope going forward as the spirit is strong"

"We’ve been like that over the last month and it’s been frustrating because the work hasn’t been reflected. I understand why fans are frustrated but we need to learn and evolve. It’s a new way of working and it is taking time, we admit that, we know that, we know the spirit of the group is strong and I think you can see that. You can look at bad luck, bad finishing, whatever, but when the spirit is there it allows us to look at the way we’re working and gives you hope."

'It's been difficult...'

"We’re very disappointed with the league positon. We’re working hard to get ourselves out of it, working to get a consistency, but results will dictate that. The pressure is always there especially when not in the form. The international break leads itself to another pressure so we’ve been determined as a group to maintain the spirit that is there. It’s not been a nice situation, it’s been difficult"

There comes a time when even Trollope must admit its a complete mess.

Barely any City player scoring goals.....conceding in practically every game....eventually that only leads one way :digging2:

I've seen no evidence of strong spirit amongst the team! Players look dejected, dis interested! Clearly lacking leadership!

How can he have belief? We don't even remotely look like we are going to win a game! No plan, no direction, we don't create anything, tempo and work rate is slow!

I can't see us getting anything from Burton! If we got a draw it wouldn't be an improvement in our performance but a bad day at the office for Burton!

I've got zero confidence in PT to actually start getting results! Performances are way off where they should be!

Tell him to travel home with us on our bus tomorrow after the game and we can talk about how we supporters feel.

I have to agree. It's like when someone believes saying something time and again makes it the truth. Sorry PT but there is no spirit in your side whatsoever.
