It never gets properly explained and probably a "Bean Counter" like Mr Dalman can "fudge" FFP any way he wants.
What is plain to see is if Mr. Tan wants to get his money back we have to be in the Premiership and for once Mr. Dalman, who was present when loads of the previous financial disasters took place, astounded even the most sceptical by getting it right with NW.
Now we genuinely look like a team that can get automatic promotion next season (my "Roy of the Rovers" dream still hasn't given up on the playoffs this season!) £6 million is a weeks wages to Mr.Tan! If this isn't the very least NW gets, then surely it is "last man out turn the lights off"

We know which division we will be playing in next season already. In some ways that must be a good position to be in, there is not a great deal of pressure on manager or players for the rest of this season. We are virtually assured of safety, and have no chance of promotion this season. I would hope that as we know where we are going to be in August, the planning for next season is already under way. It would help Warnock to start planning as well if he knows roughly what will be required for him to have the cash he wants made available. A head start may help us a bit, and hopefully he will be given some good news very soon so that he can ensure we hit the ground running at the start of next term.

Some say no, but Man City and others got away with it.

Maybe his other clubs can sign some more players and loan them back, or even sign some of the current squad and loan them back with us paying part of the wage, where there's a will there's a way !!!

NW as clearly stated he knows what players he wants and this morning he said he and club are working together for next season and he understands the problem with ffp but is hopeful things can be worked out. Reading between lines of other things he said he will be here next season unless club doesn't meet his expectations regarding signings ?

Pretty sure he will be here, he's loves it here you could see that in today's interview :ayatollah:

He has done fantastically well and has a great relationship with Dalman, he is in a position of strength and asking his boss for more at the correct time, surely we all do that, it's just common sense ???

Don't panic it will all be fine, we will stay, and get us in the playoffs at least :ayatollah:

This statement is bollocks when you hear what NW said this morning ? NW said club and himself are singing from same hym sheet and he knows the problem with ffp and him and dalman are working a way around it! So if don't believe dalman cannot believe NW as both said same thing!

If Warnock had started the season with us and managed to keep the points rate the same, no reason why he could not, then after 12 games we would have had 21.6 points. Round it up to 22 and take 8 way won by Trollope means we can add 13 points to our present total giving us 58 equal to 5th place Leeds.

Food for thought for next season.

Well said, and it's even better than that Trollope had left us in a tight mess with a set of more difficult fixtures to come, it took him a few months to sort us out !!!

Man City used loads of methods are you sure they banned sponsorship and naming rights ??

Haven't Newcastle and other clubs since named stadiums and benefited from the extra income ???

Allan, the statement came direct from Chairman Dalman, no one else and it was said yesterday, none of our words.
