Birmingham away freds missed tap in 2 points
Wigan home late late goal 1point
Newcastle away big penalty claim not given the 87th minute 1point
Barnsley home lamberts miss, at 3 all in last minute 3 points
Qpr away 1up comfortable and lose 2 1 and another . Point . Lost
Blackburn away injury time equaliser 2 points, lost
Birmingham home last minute . Equaliser 2 more points dropped

Just goes to show where we could quite easily be today in the championship
Those 12 points would put us in 6th place on 63points 1 point above sheffield wednesday
As they say hmmmmm

Nah, those things happen for a reason. We have had deficiencies all season. Warnock has us playing at our maximum for the time being. Next season though we'll be top 4 and pushing for autos.

So you just totally discount that those points could and . Maybe should have been won

We've probably had a few points that perhaps we've been lucky with so I think it tends to even itself out over a season. E.g. Can't pick them out but I remember a few open goals missed against us over the last few weeks.

Only 2 of the above games include missed chances
The above . Info was just to show how and where we could have been with abit of luck and seeing out games when we were in front

I'm sure all 92 clubs can say exactly the same thing. Life is full of what if's, but in football over the course of a season luck and ref decisions even themselves out. At this stage in the season we are where we are on merit. Even the likes of Rotherham can say if only that had happened etc., the fact is we have won 14 out of 38 games, nowhere near good enough to have a sniff of promotion.

Every team can point such things happening to them! At end day the points we got are the only thing that counts! could say if had NW earlier would have had 6 or more points than we have now the list is endless reasons why could have more points than we do but that's football. :occasion5:

You can add Brentford away where we dropped 2 points to a very late equaliser.

Saying that our last minute winner against Burton balances it out.

Usual nonsense from the OP.
No different from most other teams throughout the leagues.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Though you could argue we would be in a playoff position even with this current squad if NW had been appointed at the start of the season.

We were also completely cheated at Reading, it was never a free kick for their winner and then Rhys Healey gets wrestled to the ground for what should have been a certain penalty and a 2-1 win to us if the ref did his job properly. It's all swings and roundabouts though apparently. :banghead:

Do you think it is only us that gets the bad luck then, and that none of the other 91 teams gets a dodgy decision. Virtually every match on television shows a ref making an incorrect decision, an absolute sitter being missed, or a goal scored when a free kick could have been given during the build up. It happens in every game to every team, we are no different to anyone else. Almost every game that we get beaten in is down to the ref according to some posts on this forum. We have had decisions going our way and they are never brought up, only the ones that go against us. The simple fact is that we have been too inconsistent, and we have been nowhere near good enough to threaten those at the top. Can only hope that next season will be better.
