Many a football fan have been sat in the stands, either before the match or at half time, going over exactly what they would be saying to the players if they were the manager at that time.

Well-known Cardiff City fan Dai Hunt got that chance at Kevin McNaughton's testimonial yesterday.

Hunt, who says in the clip that he's been a Bluebirds supporter for 52 years, hit our headlines at the start of the season when he waved a list of potential transfer targets in the face of then-Bluebirds boss Paul Trollope.

Ahead of Sunday's match in the name of Cardiff's famous former defender, Hunt went into the sheds to get McNaughton's side fired up.

He called on the players to show the same 'commitment, passion, skill and determination' as they did when they used to wear the blue jersey.

Hunt also instructed Michael Chopra to play on the shoulder of the last defender and 'use his natural pace'.
