He didn't get a kick. Felt quite sorry for him because the ball completely evaded the middle of the park, we kept lumping aimless balls forward so he was never going to be able to get hold of it and show what he can do. He pressed well and put a shift in though.

Only got hold of the ball once and did well with his chance.
It must have been 30 minutes into the game when he finally receieved the ball on the half way line. He had 3 Wigan players around him and he managed to spin around them creating an opening for us in mid field. Perhaps the only opening there we manage to create in the whole first half.

Pleased for the lad, difficult to make a debut in this type of game. Throw him in Friday.

Absolutely not!
Newcastle is a game we want to win or at least draw. Put out the strongest team we have is my opinion and I'm pretty certain Warnock won't play Mark Harris.
