Michael Adebowale was previously asked to join MI6 before the Lee Rigby incident. It does make you wonder what really goes on higher up. They knew about him, they didn't stop him doing what he did and now they're giving him special treatment. It's a disgrace, but doesn't surprise me anymore sadly.

Actually, I got that wrong, MI6 targetted the brother of the other guy Michael Adebolajo. I found a link in the Daily Mail.

I don't believe in the death penalty for the following reasons: 1) it is extremely expensive (the appeals, the delays - all cost huge amounts of money), 2) there is no evidence that the death penalty is a deterrent, 3) i do not trust authorities to get it right and 4) while we are justified in removing serious criminals from society killing them, in my opinion, is not the right thing to do in a progressive society. That doesnt mean I am weak on crime - I feel the criminal justice system does not protect people, often lacks justice and criminals are given a relatively easy time. I worked in the juvenile justice system in different countries and I believe that we can learn some lessons from other countries and ensure criminals are properly punished without killing them.

I would like to point out that Lee Rigbys family have not condoned this poster or the Britain First Campaign.

I agree fully with you the death penalty should never return. The state can never be given the right to carry out legalised murder no matter what the circumstances, as we simply cannot trust the motives of those who would make the decisions.

Also as seen in America a prisoner on death row facing multiple appeals suddenly becomes the victim and brings even more heart ache to the families of their crimes.

Life imprisonment should mean life and that life behind bars shouldn't be an easy one. What Michael Adebowale did was sickening and disgusting and he has to pay properly for his crimes. There might be good reasons for moving him to a specialised Mental Health Hospital but that is no excuse for allowing him an 'easy' time.
