Time to make a prediction - POLL

Thu May 11, 2017 12:23 pm

Apologies if anyone has already done this!
Now the season is over and we gave had time to reflect just wondered what people's realistic predictions are.
Don't worry about who we are brining in - presume we will spend 4-6 million on players.

For me - it's got to be sneaking into playoff places during last couple of matches!

I think we'll sneak into the play offs in the last game or so but won't progress to the final.

2018-19 will be our season......top 2 :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Silly timing with yet another poll.
Lets at least wait to see the ins & outs first. At least then people will be able to make a better guess of it.

Until we know who will be playing for us this is like a lucky dip. Depends on who comes in and who leaves.

Gosh! Whatever you do on this board you're never short of people criticising what u do. Explained in the post that this is without us knowing but presume they will spend 4-6m.

If we know who we will be buying for this 4 to 6m, and once we know who our rivals have also brought in, we can make an educated guess. As things stand, if we have the same players as this season, we will probably finish in roughly the same position next season, give a place or two either way. Depends on who Warnock can persuade to come here, and wherever or not this sort of money is actually made available for him to spend. He has to take into account wages as well as the purchase price. Some clever wheeling and dealing will be needed.

OK I get the wait for who we sign etc. but this poll might not them happen until 31st August :o I have voted in the spirit you have put it up just so we can give our gut feelings as they stand now.

My gut feeling is we will make the top six, that said I say that every season

Fair enough but amend the poll to what is your gut feeling on where we will be this time next year?
