Brilliant player though when fit. One of our few heroes in our promotion and Premiership years.

The most games in a season played by Jordan Mutch was for us the the Premier League, when he played in 35 League games plus 2 in the League Cup, and scored 7 goals that season.

In the last 3 seasons he's played 49 league games and 9 cup games at Reading, Palace and QPR and scored 1 goal.

So everything has gone downhill since he left and a return would not be a good use of our transfer funds.

We allowed him to play in his most effective position, the player "in the hole", it's a bit of a free role where if the striker works his nuts of there's a bit of much desired space for you to get free.
In a better team than ours, he not good enough for that role. So as an attacking CM he isn't all that good and as robust as a chocolate teapot.

Can't see that many takers for him unless he massively drops his wage demands.

used to have patches in games where he looked the deal.but also went missing quite often was my take, as for the championship season he played very little in those games we racked up loads of points but played a lot towards end of season.i cant remember him scorring much that year either.

Id have him back on lower money our best player in the Prem he hasn't settled since leaving us maybe we could be that club for him.
