Is Ricky Holmes' agent touting the winger around Championship clubs?
That could well be the case with suggestions that Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City have thrown their hats into the ring for the Charlton Athletic star.
It was in June 2016 that Holmes handed in a transfer request to Northampton Town - before joining the Addicks.
It is almost 12 months on and, while Charlton say they are confident the player will stay and that improved terms will be offered, the speculation refuses to die down.
A player's - or agent's - head can be turned by what they perceive to be bigger and better things. A jump to the Premier League would have been too high for Holmes but now Wednesday are confirmed as a Championship outfit, following their loss to Huddersfield Town in the play-offs, the suggestions may have an element of truth in them.
Charlton insist the player is not for sale - with 12 months of his contract yet to run - but Holmes' agent was the best deal for him and his man. Addicks' fans can only hope that comes from the club in SE7.
