City's New No1

We are still needing a new No 1 or so Warnock feels, based on last seasons performances i would be happy with Murphy in between the sticks - but if a new 'Keeper was to be brought in then why not offer Shay Given a 1 year rolling contract.

Bags of experience and has been one of the top 5 GK's in the Premier League for years, granted he is 41 but as keepers go, he for me is a great option.

Id rather someone younger to fight it out with Murphy and another.

I think young & hungry is the way to go. Someone looking to push for No.1 spot rather than Shay Given. No hunger, and one foot into retirement.
