A good age at 96 but another great comedy actor goes; but at least in that field he gets to leave behind some great memories of his work
Norman Clegg (Last of the Summer Wine) was always my favourite, although most will know him latterly as the voice of Wallace (from the wonderful Wallace and Gromit series of animated films)

Met Compo once years ago at Highgate underground station when I was working in London. Lovely old gent.
