Dozens of Wales football fans donate blood in Serbia after supporter 'shot in the stomach'

A number of Welsh fans are thought to have helped come to the aid of an injured football supporter who was reportedly shot in the stomach ahead of Wales' crunch World Cup qualifying clash with Serbia in Belgrade.
Serbian media outlet B92 learned that a fan suffered a gunshot wound during the early hours of Friday morning as Partizan and Red Star - Belgrade's two greatest club sides - supporters clashed.
It is reported that the 'severely wounded' 19-year-old fan was taken to Zemun hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

A blood donating campaign was launched by Partizan fans to help the injured man, and B92 report that 30 Welsh supporters in Serbia were among those to give blood to help the youngster.
A Serbian fan group tweeted the news to thank the Welsh supporters for the wonderful gesture.
They wrote: "Big respect for Wales fans who came to Belgrade for the match between Serbia and Wales and donated blood for injured Partizan fan @Walesaway."
The locals were truly overwhelmed with the gesture, taking to social media to thank those Welsh supporters who responded to the blood donation campaign.
Local police are yet to comment on the matter while it is also thought another person suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Around 2,400 Welsh supporters made the trip to the Serbian capital for the crucial Group D World Cup qualifier at the Rajko Mitic Stadion which ended 1-1.
Chris Coleman's remain four points behind the group leaders.
